Whoops, attempts rape.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10197141/Attempted-rapist-attacked-woman-NYC-bridge-two-days-released-prison.html

An attempted rapist is in custody after attacking a woman on a New York City bridge in broad daylight only two days after being released from prison for a previous rape.

Prosecutors say 38-year-old Howard Shaw, a registered sex offender, approached a jogger on Wards Island Bridge on Thursday at around 7:30 am by asking her for the time.

He is then said to have put one of his hand's around her waist and the other over her mouth as he dragged her toward a stairwell.

As Shaw attacked the woman in her 50's he told her: 'I don't want to hurt you, I just want sex' as he tried to pull down her pants, according to a criminal complaint.

Yikes.

https://www.post-gazette.com/news/crime-courts/2021/09/22/McDonald-s-sued-after-manager-charged-with-raping-worker/stories/202109220135

Apparently corporate did nto investigate the girl's comp[laint nor the complaint of two others. All were minors, the victim is 14.

https://jezebel.com/mcdonald-s-hired-a-registered-sex-offender-then-he-rap-1848047394

In October 2020, L.H. started working at a Pittsburgh-area McDonalds at just 14 years old. Because she was under 18, she needed a work permit signed by her parents and school in order to work during the school year. Things went fine for the first few weeks, until January when the manager on her shift changed. Walter Garner, then 41, started sexually harassing her and two other minor employees and made sexually explicit comments, including innuendos about a spilled milkshake and saying that he wanted her to be his Happy Meal (a detail first reported by Mother Jones.) Garners verbal harassment escalated to brushing against L.H., touching her hair, and asking to see her after work. The locations hiring manager spoke to L.H. and the two other girls over the phone about Garners harassment, but nothing happenedGarner even continued to work the same shift as L.H.

The harassment escalated to rape in February 2021. Garner followed L.H. into the McDonalds bathroom during her shift, grabbed her, pulled off her uniform and forced himself on her. According to the lawsuit L.H. and her parents filed against McDonalds in September, she went into shock, wanted to forget the whole thing happened, and kept working for Garner. He later pleaded guilty and was convicted of indecent assault on a child.

While investigating an unrelated cash register theft, the locations owner, hiring manager, and another manager watched security footage of Garner groping L.H. They talked to him about the incident, but didnt discipline him. Garner continued harassing her and coerced her into sexual acts outside of work. Garner only faced consequences when he showed photos of himself and L.H. to another minor employee he was targeting, and that girl told her school, which called the police immediately. Garner was arrested in April and charged with a felony and three misdemeanors.

Only then did the McDonalds franchise fire him.

Later, L.H. learned that since 2004, Garner has been registered as a lifetime sex offender under Megans Law in Pennsylvania for a 2003 conviction of aggravated indecent assault on a 10-year-old girl. After Garners arrest and firing, the owner of the location, Michele Rice, and other managers apologized to L.H. and for the first time showed her training videos about the companys position on sexual harassment and how to report it. Sexual harassment training is not mandated at franchised locations like the one where L.H. worked.

Some advice from a senior IT professional, get an entry level job and leave it two years later no matter what. Constantly apply to better paying jobs, don't stay in one place hoping for a raise. Job hop until you hit your desired number.

My brother finally left his shitty low paid job that was like 17 bucks an hour, he has AWS certification among a few others, he just started a contract making 34/hour and he's lined up the next contract gig paying $70/hr. Rent is lowest in Nassau county and it is close enough to be less tthan 2 hours from Manhattan. Lynbrook or Rockville Centre are like 90 minutes or less to the city by train. Queens or Brooklyn will be super quick depending on where you are but costs much more.

Same platform but yeah. The GT is disgusting. As a TTS owner, it's the first time I've been jealous of another Audi that didn't have "RS" in the name.

Cable is literally an unpaid Tesla shill so good luck with discoures. and yes, the Taycan shits all over the Model S. Are you for real? How the hell do the police keep getting called for domestic violence over and over again without someone going to jail? I've met three kinds of cops: serious ones doing a professional job, laid back guys who are nice and won't really hassle you, and the mean gung-ho types that are looking for an excuse to arrest people for anything (bonus points if they keep their hands on their gun the entire time they talk to you when nothing is going on). I don't understand how you could have so many calls to the PD without getting one or more of the bad ones eventually.

  1. the abuser was a woman, this is the biggest one. all of those protocols nationwide with automatic arrests...only apply to men.
  2. the husband was clearly doing what all the simmps, media, women etc. tell men to always do and stick it out, just love her better, "try to make it work". he wasn't ready to give up on their marriage, despite all of the evil she has done to him and their child. this is just the outcome when you keep giving a woman chances she so cleaerly doesn't deserve, their behavior gets worse with time, not better.

The sabotage claim, as floated by the lawyers for Rust armorer Gutierrez-Reed on Today Wednesday, is speculation and has not been substantiated with any evidence by the lawyers or authorities. And Steve Wolf, who has 30 years of experience as a movie armorer, told TheWrap-Up Podcast, that speculation is a kind word for how to describe that claim.

I think its a far more sinister explanation than the more likely explanation that people were using that gun for target practice, they didnt properly unload it, they left it back on the cart and then someone picked it up, several people handled it with none of them checking it. Thats just a more likely explanation, Wolf told TheWrap-Up Podcast.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/chicago-cop-killed-dad-pleading-201642941.html

A Chicago cop who shot and killed a Black man who had called 911 to say he was the victim of a domestic violence incident had a history of drinking and had been recommended for termination by his superintendent years before.
According to a redacted incident report released Wednesday by Chicagos police oversight agency, responding officers arrived on the scene at 7:40 a.m. on Oct. 4 after Michael Craig, 61, told an operator that his wife was holding a knife to his throat as he lay in bed.
I need the police over here, my wifes got a knife on my neck, on the bed. Are there any officers coming here? Craig told dispatchers, according to a recording of the call.

My wifes got a knife on me on the bedright now, on my throat, Craig said. Shes got a knife on my neck, and I cant move. If I move shell kill me. Ive got the front door open, tell the officers the door is open, my kid is opening the door.

A responding officer, later identified in an incident report as Alberto Covarrubias, can be seen on body-camera footage with a Taser and gun drawn.
Civilian Office of Police Accountability spokesman Ephraim Eaddy insisted in a press release announcing the document drop that cops had engaged Craig and his wife before a weapon was fired, but body cam footage paints a different picture, showing an officer firing two shots at Craig within moments of entering the apartment.
An officer can be heard calling out as he approaches the apartment, to which Craig exclaimed, Shes got a butcher knife to my neck.
Screams can be heard as the officer takes a couple of steps and fires both his Taser and a gun at Craig as he and his wife can be seen fighting and dropping to the ground, according to video footage.
Moments later as he draws closer to the couple, who are lying in the doorway of a bathroom, the officer fires a second shot at Craig, footage shows.

As always, black people need to forego calling Police in 99% of situations.
