When we read "It Feels Good to Be Yourself: A Book About Gender Identity" by Theresa Thorn, Clark pointed to the page with the nonbinary description and said, Thats how I feel. I dont feel like a boy or a girl. I feel like I would need to get a hold of this book for that comment to make any sense. I dont know what I would say if asked what it feels like to be a boy or a girl. Can anyone here provide some insight? |

You hear about situations like this with parents and a young kid from time to time, and it almost always seems to primarily be a fashion thing. When someone states they dont feel like a boy/girl, the logical follow-up question is what does it feel like to be a boy/girl? Is there a checklist? The basis for these situations seems very much divorced from body dysmorphia, which seems like it would be preposterous at that age. Seems like attention whore parents dragging their kid into it. Tale as old as time. |

However much you think you might go through over a few days. Between that and getting yourself something nice like a new video game youre excited about, maybe a couple movies, it can be a pretty nice time. But I really like sandwiches, so I might be biased. |

Oddly enough, both times I was on my way to vote in a presidential primary. The sirens go off, the radio and your phone start blaring the emergency signal. I got the fuck away from my car and took shelter in the nearest building. First time it was a library, second time it was a church pre-school. I was lucky that I was so close to buildings that werent locked. Because I was going in one way or another. Theres no time to leave. Thats the worst thing to do. For crying out loud, the general rule is to get out of your car even if youre just jumping down into a shallow ditch. A shallow ditch in the open is better than being in your car. You cant outrun it. You cant even see. You could be driving right towards it and not even know. This was all unavoidable. It doesnt make it any less tragic. |

If your in shape and do some work, a bit of extra weight doesnt matter if you have the force to back it up. Also, always be learning new skills. Anything practical that interests you. Also, you need a place to meet people. Im old school, so I wont recommend bars or online dating. You may want to start looking for a church. I know. Sounds crazy. But if you are in a relatively high population density area youd be surprised that there are churches that are very open minded and progressive these days. Otherwise figure out a hobby. One that you can really get in to. Find a group. |
