I forget his name, but there's a mangaka who talks about this. He says that your eyes level up faster than your hands. If your eyes are good enough to understand something, your hands might not be able to yet. When you reach the point that your hands can draw what you wanted to from before, your eyes have reached a new level.

Essentially, you will enter a cycle of always learning and always finding areas to improve. If you ever finish a drawing and can't find fault with it, that means you need to learn more so that your eyes get ahead of your hands again. If you don't, you'll stagnate.

This actually makes so much sense. I can visualize what I want, but its like I can't translate it on paper correctly.

As I'm sure you can tell, it's unpolished, but I still feel like my coloring has improved. Or at the very least, it has much more capability to improve. I wasn't thinking too hard about color and light relations. If anyone remembers the week 1 thing I did with the sphere, the coloring is essentially that level of base light.

Good Job! Loving the improvements you've been dishing out.

This is why I dont stay near live service games. Especially Gatcha. It happened to that Star Ocean game as well.

The only thing I play that could be similar to one is FF14 and thats an Mmorpg.

I sunk quite a bit into dragonball legends but I stopped playing that last year. Was even looking forward to Nier reincarnation but the Gatcha put me off.

The funny thing is I tweeted I hated gatcha, even with games like Nier, and Yoko Taro followed me for that I think lmao

Here being in the UK seems so much more chill than America. Sure we have our politics and outrage with Boris and the government, but no one really takes it over the top here. People are too conservative for that here (Not politically but personality-wise). Yes we have the occasionally idiots, but even then, its more condensed and under control.

However from here, America feels like a fucking warzone politically. Every few days some shit happens there and it feels as if everyone takes offense to the smallest things. The most toxic viewpoints I hear usually comes from that place which trickles down here a bit until the masses here just kind of ignore it.

I remember there were American activists who came here a while ago trying to start protests for BLM and a few other stuff. The amount of shit they got on British instagram social media posts and Facebook was hilarious.

It seems nowadays thats a subjective view. And mostly used as an insult to demean people who enjoy Japanese media, which seems a bit racist really.

But I don't watch anime or read Manga. I learn the Japanese language, love the culture, music, TV and movies. Have a Japanese girlfriend and am trying to move there for a while to work.

It's so horrendously bad that you have to do the entire msq, and all the quest lines from all of the patches they have ever released if you wanna do current raiding content.

Thats only one way of looking at it. Again, its a raiders perspective who doesn't even make up a quarter of the fanbase. The amount of people who care more about the story totally trumps what raiders want.

Like what others said, you can boost. But boosting in such a heavily story narrative driven game is questionable. Its best for people to find another game that has raiding content in it if thats all they care about.

Yes, FFXIV's raids are amazing and challenging, but if someone doesn't want to go through the story and other content, or doesn't enjoy story driven games, then try another game out. This is in the end, a Final Fantasy game first and foremost.

This is a waste of time imo. You can go back to character creation and save/load any character you've made if you want to switch up your look, plus it's not too much of a hassle to respect. On later NG+ cycles you can even switch out the highest scaling stat on weapons so your build doesn't really stop you from playing any/every weapon.

What weapons do you all use? I chose axe, but they all seem like they'd be fun.

I'm going for Odachi and Katana. Loved it in 1. Although gonna make a second female character and switch it up for a ninja style build.

Although neither of these games (Nioh 1/2) are better than Dark Souls games, I really did enjoy A LOT of boss battles in Nioh 2. Really great designs.

I actually prefer this series. Love the Souls series though. After this I'm thinking of playing through that.

The plot is much easier to follow in this one because it doesn't require as much knowledge of JP history.

The levels aren't quite as good imo. It's more of just a series of paths until the end. The original levels mostly felt more connected or at least made more sense as actual locations.

The new weapons are pretty fun and it's overall more balanced than the original. Still, I just demolished everything with high stance axe. It made combat kind of boring because it's simple, but it works well.

I appreciated the amount of JP history in the first. Made me actually learn more about the period and figures back then.

Just killed the big Yokai at the beginning. Was pretty easy in the end. Gonna continue tomorrow.

Read up on what bosses drops weapon scroll techniques...each weapon as at least two skills you find via getting them off certain boss drops.

Same! I need to get motivation back to draw. I was on a roll back in Inktober last year as well.

Holy shit im already loving this game. Made my character (Spent an hour on this as usual, the creation in this is a lot better than I thought) and now I'm trying to beat to Gozuki at the beginning. Died twice but got his life to half. Gonna try and kill it before I continue.

Can already tell, the combat is so much better in this. And Nioh 1 was already amazing.

Resurrections was utter shit. I fell asleep 6-7 throughout the movie. My gf had to nudge me awake until she started to doze off too. My friend who wanted us all to see it actually regretted even bringing up the idea.

At least we had a good dinner afterwards while talking about how crap it was.
