t;dr Seven members of an eleven-person staff found better employment at a different healthcare provider. Their previous employer filed an absolutely ludicrous fucking lawsuit, claiming that the other provider was poaching its staff and requesting an injunction to prevent them from working their new job. According to the employees, there was no poaching; one person applied and got a better offer and others followed suit. Instead of trying to match that offer, their previous employer did this and some piece of shit judge granted it.

Poaching isn't illegal. No poaching clauses exist in contracts, but without it there is literally nothing a company can do. Also, non-compete and non-poaching agreements shouldn't be legal. Give employees better compensation than your competitors and you won't lose employees.
