That all being said I don't have a terrible amount of investment in this game thankfully so maybe bat is indeed just newbie scum who slipped. But most slips turn out not to be such and I don't even view it as a slip. I like to lynch scum day one personally and when I can understand where someone is coming from it is usually town.

Idk just feels like a really shitty lynch but sometimes shitty lunches get scum so? Whoo let's roll the dice and hope disastrous play and logic work out.

Also, I would love to see the stats on hectic end of days vs quiet end of days. The last time I remember someone making the quiet end of day argument, the last second lynch was town power and the escaped quiet lynch was scum

Killing a BG isn't bad mafia practice, especially in a game this small.

Killing a protection claim on the basis of a "slip" that isn't a slip is horrible and if icdie night one I demand you all murder plum for me even if it is just so I can explain mafia theory to him in dead chat

I mean basically if he is scum you can eliminate me/red/scare/you/plum/ulti and maybe others from the list immediately. His scum profile only works with a few specific team members who wouldn't try to help.

More importantly in board 8 set ups protection roles are kind of hard to disguise for long. Unless you are really sure it's usually a poor play to go after them day one.

So my day one 'let's hope I don't suck' list is I am fine with bananaan's vote on bat, seemed genuine. Scare as town also tends to enjoy jumping on people so that's fine. Votes I don't like are death and plum but also I think death has asked me before to stop thinking so highly of his town game but that may have been scum death saying that.

So if bat is town I am fine with quite a few people based on how they are interacting with the wagon and general early vibes.

Anyway I am probably rusty but reviewing Mr bat I umderstood what he meant. Ulti was not being scummy, he was feigning idleness so I can see why someone would say 'oh geesh people are going to vote you for being idle rather than pursuing scum' which makes sense in context. It's only a slip if you want it to be one, I muse on such things fairly often myself and in general most players presume people are town due to the numbers game of mafia.

Plum should really know better, and something is telling me a town plum makes this point for me instead of voting the bodyguard claim.

But yeah we aren't lynching the player who scum could kill by mistake at night.

Remember the game where I was towns spirit medium and lolstomped the game with your corpse because I knew noping out of the game for a few days would work? Scum couldnt deal with you twice and the role was so stupid that some of towns usual idiots thought it was a scum role anyway. The host had to change the rules mid-game, which basically mega-confirmed everything I said and the game was a rout because of it. Puns is probably still crying about it somewhere.
