I bought this game over a decade ago and got as far as the Kirlsa Caverns (or whatever it was called; where you had to control a turtle to move your cart or something), and stopped playing with the intention of coming back to it.

I never did. And even if I tried, I'd probably have to start over from scratch, since I pretty much forgot the story. But I already had the big plot twist spoiled for me anyway, so...

I literally do this for a living, so if what he's saying is true it's probably time to stop ripping on Duncan. Idk how to say it in a ToS friendly way other than you typically need to qualify for those kinds of programs which are typically ran/funded through the state.

That's not a secret. It's very well known.

And just because of his condition doesn't mean that his statements can't be rebuffed by people who actually have tons more of experience in public society.

I think that if my parents can make such a good life for themselves on a teacher's salary then everyone should be able to as well.

Times change, and your parents' experience is not going to be the same for people who live in different parts of the country, or even within your area.

And not every teacher even makes the $60k that was mentioned. Some make far less than that.

Thats still more than some degreed professionals. Thats definitely more than a lot of trade work. Minimum wage should be $9-10/hr MAX. You want more money? Go learn a trade.

Minimum wage should be enough for anyone to live off of; that's what it was made for.

Unless you believe that people who make the current MW should starve to death in the streets because our cost of living is out of control.

i guess because i'm not that petty? really, you should be able to not react to posts you don't like. accept that people have shitty opinions and move on with your life. but in the event that you literally cannot do that, i dont see why just removing that person's posts isn't enough. going the extra distance to ensure that person can't see your posts too is just ... i dont know ... petty.

It stops them from harassing you, and it also stops them from shitting up your topics with posts that other people can still see.
