A lot of that is true but still, people are justifiably annoyed at this movement to analyze every single thing through the lens of racism, and only criticize America, without being able to say anything positive. There's nothing wrong with some patriotism or pride in our country. Even Germans and Japanese today are more patriotic than us. It makes me wonder, if people hate America so much, why do they even live here?

1. A lot of America's history is racist, so it is justified to view it through that lens.
2. They only criticize America because they live there, so another country's politics have no relevance to the subject.
3. You seem to think that having patriotism means that you think the country is perfect and can do no wrong, which is not true for any country. Truth is, people try to use "patriotism" as a deflection from the country's faults.
4. Calling out the faults of American society and its history doesn't mean that they hate the country; rather, by calling attention to them, there's the hope that those issues can be addressed and the country can improve. American citizens are free to criticize the country if they think something is shitty.
5. The only people who are upset about these racial analysis are likely of dubious character themselves.

The fact that the 13th and 14th amendments even exist, or that the civil war occurred, is absolutely evidence of racist roots. These roots persist in present day with preferential treatment by law enforcement and judges.

I went into GO Fest with the intention of finding Deino, to build up candies and to hopefully find a pretty good one to evolve (ideally a "hundo", or close to it). Sadly, Deino did not spawn as much as I'd liked during the Cave hours, though I was able to sorta make up for it with the Raids and 7km Eggs that I got. Eventually, I got a few good ones (13/15/14, 15/13/12, and 15/11/14), but I wished I could have gotten better. I still have some more 7km Eggs from the event to hatch, as well as a few 12km eggs, so maybe I'll get lucky there.

However, the event did allow me to find a pretty good Beldum and evolve it into Metagross, so there's that. I also completed two Mewtwo raids which filled up very fast in my downtown area; first time I ever completed a 5-Star raid, and that first Mewtwo go curbstomped. lol Also completed all of the relevant research, both Event and Special for both days.

Day 2 was mostly more Deino stuff, since unlike with Day 1 where I went downtown for several hours, Day 2 I mostly just stuck with my immediate neighborhood, so I wasn't able to do much with the Legendary Raids. Thru PokeGenie, I was able to get Reshiram and Rayquaza; I tried for Landorus due to the Special Research I have requiring to take a snapshot of it, but the one I was queued for for 3+ hours expired with me at 133 in the queue, likely due to Landorus no longer spawning in the few places where GO Fest was still going on at that point.

Overall, this was my notable haul:
