I tried it once, it immediately felt wrong. Like eating something while using the toilet.

There was no fine control and felt I was putting too much strain on my back/legs just trying to keep off the pedal.

I like to cruise in the left lane and match my speed with the right. That way I'm not being a menace by speeding, going slow, or doing anything dramatic.

My neighbor's suv, I don't know the model of, but it loves to beep. Beeps 4 times when they unlock it, 3 times when they lock it, 2-3 times when the hatch is opened. Beeps when it turns on and off.

It's loud enough to come through the walls, but faint enough I thought I was losing it and there was a digital watch in some drawer. Nope, just an annoying keyless system.

Yeah, they themselves actually ended up doxxing some actual 15 year old including his school, name, address, etc. All because your stories/content gets dumped on some third party server to be read and scrutinized by some one else publicly.

All this to "protect the kids" when they themselves baked some pretty messed up stuff into the AI. I can't even really describe the material they used. Completely out of the blue I had the AI generate "We're living in the golden age of pedophilia" which in itself is wtf, but there wasn't a child in sight. Then I found out it was actually directly part of the training material word for word.

Their filter doesn't work, because the AI still generates it on its own, then trips the filter and suspends you for 1/7 days. They also intend to expand the filter, so that trash heap will be hilarious.

All in all the whole situation has flipped from being "Maybe they'll come around" to "Let's see what's new today" for the last 2 months. I too almost subscribed, but didn't yet. Someone actually got charged 5 times after unsubbing. It's... yeah.

I got whoopin's, stuff broken, and then forced to some bible camp and whatnot.

All mostly for stuff I didn't understand at the time, but hey let's not actually explain anything, just not tell him about it while punishing for doing it.

I believe it was only once I had the entire theater to myself. I could have walked laps around the entire room for 2 hours and not bother any one. It wasn't until about midway through an employee actually did this, by running up and around for one lap.

Honestly have you actually looked into it? Or just going by Latitude's word. Even most of the articles reporting on it are bullshit.

Also this is only the second time, I didn't bring it up last time. I'm just saying it always stems back to credit card companies/investors that have some sort of moral high ground and in some cases there's even worse shit that's trying to be covered up.

It all stems back to moral high ground political power, and probably at the mercy of the credit card companies. They do it to get investors and throw everyone else under the bus.

It's ok, there's sometimes a dark sad little secret that gets revealed in the process. I doubt you'd followed the sad plane crash that is AI Dungeon, but they got 3.3 mill in funding and at the end of April they basically threw all their users/customers under the bus claiming they were using it for shady pedophillic content. If you resisted/complained about the still to this day broken filter, you got called a pedo. Guess what? The damn developers and OpenAI themselves used pedophillic content to train the AI and instead cast the blame on the users when the AI itself will generate it. They also now auto-suspend users if the AI generates specific words like 'girl' or numbers. It's a real shitshow and none of this would have happened if they didn't decide to have a moral high ground because of less than 1% of the users doing it. Now everyone knows about it.

Btw, it's gotten far worse than just CP. They're also leaking/out sourcing users data and re-activating cancelled subscriptions on deleted accounts.

I want push button steering.

TIL.... GTA v was on the ps3 and xbox 360...

It even required special methods to run on 360. It had a disc to install to the hdd, then a second disc to run off the optical drive, so that it could stream from both to keep up. It still struggled at times.

Because of the dumb method it works.

I have an HP printer that can work via 2 main methods.

1. Buy a USB A to USB B cable, plug it into computer, print.
2. Connect printer to WiFi router. When printing from any device wirelessly it actually sends the material to be printed to HP's servers first, then comes back so it can communicate with the printer on your network. It doesn't actually go directly from device to printer through LAN, it has to go to HP's servers through WAN to print on something that could literally be 1 inch away.

It's dumb and I hate it.

I just said I can understand why he got into that position pre-emptively if he had to perform the PIT. If the occupants of the vehicle started acting super dodgy/hostile like pulling out a weapon or driving unpredictibly then you're already mostly lined up. It also gives slightly better view of what the driver is doing. I didn't say he should have actually performed it, especially 1 mile from the exit and nothing eratic/suspicious.

I can fully understand why he got into position to perform it in case she tried something, but they were about a mile from an exit and not doing anything extreme. Pretty sure that's a tip/advice I've seen as well, if you feel unsafe/uncomfortable then find a lit area like a parking lot to pull over.

Yes... It was even worse in the 60-70's, as all small foreign cars were bad and worthless jokes due to being wussy or can't get parts.

The the fuel shortage/gas crisis hit and US manufacturers played catch up for decades. You don't see many of those around because they rusted out fast. My dad had a Vega at one point and said it was rusting in 2 years and was the biggest pile of garbage he'd ever owned. Still a GM fanboy though and hates foreign cars, despite the 2 best cars my parents owned were japanese and korean. lol

I mean it makes sense... ya know.
