Ever since this was posted, I find I still like how they say to be less defensive, while simultaniously blaming and insulting.

They may have been talking about it with other mods first.
Probably, I'm not saying they said it was ok/bad, just what I saw/recall. I wanna say one of them seemed a bit perplexed, but tbh everyone was.

I don't remember seeing them flat out say it was ok, but pretty sure one or two posted and it remained for hours afterwards. They very clearly saw the contents, as it was before the wiping.

Sounds like a classic case of just not knowing how to identify a feline's genitals. It's a bit confusing if they're neutered, otherwise the balls might give it away.

I literally got into a mild argument with someone irl who insisted cats have the same genital layout as a dog. They even started getting someone else in on their side and saying the neighbors that owned the cat were all wrong. I took 1 look and could see it was a neutered male.

It was basically a collection of various personal info gleamed over the years, mostly 17 years ago, all neatly placed together for everyone to see.

It was a bit strange, but can only assume it was taken from past references/topics (I know I've seen him make topics asking random personal stuff like state/birthday/etc). Though it was essentially archived, for everyone to see for all these years, which is where the "wat" stems from.

Usually it is visually, but they get around this with lore.

I mean, Azur Lane's Queen Elizabeth as an example is one of the oldest, yet looks 11 at best.
You probably don't even want to look at most of their submarine and destroyer renditions. Imagine an under 12 year old straddling a submarine, and there's worse. I only know of these because of research purposes, because boats.

That's insane that you went that long until seizing the engine.
I didn't personally, though I did drive it twice in that span. It was dailied by my mom, and neither of them checked the oil after getting the change. I remember driving it with her in the passenger seat "the oil light just came on" "are you sure? there's oil in it"

Turns out, no, there wasn't. It had 164k miles on it and went at least 100+ miles in summer weather without oil.

It was a Toyota, for those wondering how it endured. Funny thing is it actually lasted another 3-4 months afterwards, now with oil of course. Then it decided "I'ma die now, k". Ofcourse afterwards my dad insulted it for being unamerican.

Yeah, there's so many weird settings like that. My previous machine I shut it down like normal and instead of powering off, windows went away, but the psu/case was still humming away for over an hour as if on.

It only happened once, but it left me in a state of "wat do"

For closure I ended up forcing it off with the case button. Pretty sure it was the psu misbehaving.

Sleep or shut down?
I dunno much about sleep, but you could try turning off fast startup if it's enabled. Apparently it could be a cause, not to mention it causes other wonky software issues. So I've had it disabled.

If you don't know where to find it, you can find it under Control panel > system and security > power options > change what the power buttons do.
Then at the bottom you'll need to click the 'change currently unavailable settings' or whatever it's called, it's got the windows shield. Then disable fast start up.

I only mention this, because it's on by default, causes random issues and might kick the system on for updates.

Failing that it could be a power supply or power button issue.

I'd still at least check the dipstick and make sure it's present and not doing weird stuff or low. If it's synthetic then it might be ok. Though I still wouldn't chance it on too new of a car, as it might still be breaking in and contaminating.

I only say that because very strange circumstances in my past. Parents got an oil change, but the genius doing it didn't actually put any in. It was driven for roughly 1.5 weeks without oil beyond what was in the filter, so the sensor didn't go off until I was driving it and my parents didn't believe me. They wouldn't let me even eyeball the engine bay at the time, as if it were pornography, so yeah. RIP 2.0 I4, crankshaft warped and melded to the block, bending a piston rod too.

Depends on what you mean by "sometime last year" and other factors.
If Oct-Dec I could maybe understand, but you should probably at least check on it with the dipstick.

You really shouldn't mess around with or underestimate engine oil, as I've seen relatives pay the price for skimping out. Ignoring a 24 dollar oil change resulting in a 5000 dollar engine rebuild, or another creating an absolute sludge monster that clogged up ports. Plus my brother didn't change oil in a brand new truck, basically made a 4 year old truck worse than a 30 year old truck, it was staggeringly impressive.

Pretty sure they also randomly alter your posts/comments. As some have noticed entire sentences removed and replaced with a simple "Great content" or something harmless. Sometimes it's just a word, but man it can mess with your mind if not aware.

I'm not surprised, as robot combat like battlebots, robot wars, etc. was being deleted as animal cruelty/fighting just a year or so ago.

I don't blame them for wanting to use an AI to filter through that, but it's just more evidence of quirks.

This talk of power bills reminded me of a story.
I believe it was after Katrina, after the power lines and buildings got knocked out. They spent time getting things all sorted and reconnected. A few months passed after getting stuff running and they sent some power company workers to this old lady who wouldn't pay her electric bill. She's sitting on the front porch and they tell her they're there to turn off her power. So she tells them "go right ahead".

So they go around to where the power box is, and they learn they never actually reconnected her power, but were still billing her for months of use. They apologized, reconnected it, and dismissed the unpaided bills.

Yeah, tell me about it. I die inside a little bit every time I'm reminded and about 10 years ago I came across a remnant of the torn box that cowered away under stuff. Thing is, that was the only game of mine to face that fate.

I can only assume it was too weird and unchristian. At least that's what I'd like to believe. I don't think they even knew what it was about, and it was just luck of the draw.

Reminds me of this time, back when I still went to church. They had a burning of evil/bad things, so you can imagine pokemon, star wars, music. So we stood around smelling plastic from video games and CDs melting. I didn't bring anything to burn, but gimme some of that delicious cancer/health risk.

My copy of Earthbound with the original box ate a hammer before being tossed in the garbage. That sure taught me a lesson.

I love how I was right, in that they'd slip that bicycle rack into the montage/highlights like it was amazing. Even then it's as brief as they possibly can, but you can still see it. The dialogue of it being so destructive or w/e only adds to the lulz.

I'm a bit disappointed in the outcome of 1 fight, but my solace is that the winner now has to fight that. Either Ribbot or Beta had to fight Uppercut, and I was hoping for Beta to win, but I doubt Beta would've stood a great chance against Uppercut, so now I guess we'll see a frog go into orbit.

Spoilers for this episode's winners, but just my speculation/hopes for later in the tournament.
I really like Hydra's design, but that bike rack business kinda put them on the "I like you, but now I'm curious to see you lose" list of mine. I also usually root for Gigabyte, so I'm hoping that Gigabyte won't become too much of a UFO and might actually dig into Hydra's skirts, spinning and damaging it, since iirc the sides/corners of Hydra are vulnerable.
