They are reaching out across the isle and saying. Hey your old group isn't that bad. Nowadays, with wanting to give people health care, teaching about racism from the past, having women make their own choices. Now that is bad and they will call them out on those things . But they are open to the past. The Republicans are such great people. I don't know why I ever assumed that their were racist assholes. If you want to go further back to the Pilgrims, persecution was the name of their game America infastructure was literally built on slave labor, there was a literal civil war over whether slavery is bad.
