Yeah, it's very clear that he stopped caring, especially after he dried up the well of games that he played as a kid. And with the old crew gone and these new Screenwave guys calling all the shots, he's just going through the motions.

Xenoblade X and the Zelda HD games are the last remaining Wii U titles left to make the jump to the Switch, so until then, the Wii U is the only way to play them (or, the better versions of them, in the case of the Zelda games).

What's stupid is how good of a VC machine the Switch could be... but isn't.

The problem is that most third party companies don't want to give away their games for free, which is what the NES/SNES Online services essentially are doing. Which is why we keep getting titles from smaller, lesser-known, and/or defunct companies, and Nintendo's own well of games has pretty much run dry (I think EarthBound is the only one left, at least on the SNES front).

I can't excuse the lack of N64 or GCN titles, though.
