Also TC idk if you realize this but Yoshi got a game two years ago, Kirby got three games in the past three years (granted two of them are spinoffs) and even though Pokmon Snap wasn't in the direct, it's still in the pipeline. Those are by absolutely no means neglected IPs. Mother is dead and the creator doesn't want to make any more games. Game and Watch... lolI realize that, but it's kind of hard to get excited about Nintendo directs when most of the stuff announced can be played on other consoles or PC. (And yeah, Kirby Star Allies is the last Kirby game I've been interested in) Nintendo franchises can only be played on their systems, so seeing stuff like plants vs zombies, outer wilds, etc in a direct makes for a snooze fest. Hell, I'm not even married to the idea of getting new games. Having Kirby 64, Nightmare in Dreamland, F Zero GX, Star Fox 64, GBA Metroid games etc on Switch would be enough for me. Nintendo has such a hard line stance against emulation but gives their fans little other choice for these old games --- A hunter is a hunter...even in a dream |

This is what's truly upsetting about Nintendo shutting down fan projects. They'll sit on IPs that people love for years, sometimes decades, doing nothing with them, but wont allow fans to enjoy them via their own creations.
