I am a functional human and recognise context that makes the same thing good or bad. I understand that violence and harm are not necessarily connected, but in the real world they are. Being a thinking creature I can understand what is bad about violence in a given context, and that scripted events by virutal presences are not something to feel bad about.

You can't do a lot of things without winning/success. However you can lose individual battles and still conquer and you can still win without conquering (EX: winning a defensive battle). So while you need to win to conquer winning and conquering are not really related. Winning is way to broad while conquering is a very specific thing that, while related, is a bit distantly related.

Winning is absolutely essential. You can lose some and still conquer but that's from winning more. You can't conquer while losing more than you gain. Battles are unrelated to conquering as you don't need to battle to conquer, but you absolutely must win something, be it land or hearts.

Conquest is a type of win, you cannot separate the concept.

One of the former computers I had was an AMD that had 8 cores. It was worthless. I don't think I ever really used more than 4 of them, but because it had so many each core was slower than you would have gotten with a dual or quad core.

AMDs are known for their single core performance. They run high TDPs but do single core well. Try limiting to less cores particularly for Skyrim that doesn't use cores correctly.

Another issue with Skyrim. It's forcibly 32-bit so beyond 4GB is entirely unutilised.

Maybe don't use your hardware wrong, or even better, don't use AMD for gaming as Nvidia is often what PC games are optimised for. You can get a decent PC for $600, but the main advantage is next console generation you only really need to upgrade the GPU. A decent CPU isn't outpaced by gaming as there's not much use for brute forcing big files.

we've hit the point of diminishing returns, the technology isn't getting better as fast as it was anymore, and we've a bottleneck in this progress because silicon literally can't be any better than it is.

short of throwing 2080ti supers, and ryzen 7002's in them, it's pretty much as good as it's going to get for the foreseeable future.

That's an issue of density, not performance. There's no reason PCs and consoles can't get bigger with more cores.

We live in the real world, everybody judges everybody for everything. If passing didn't matter then the physical form wouldn't matter at all and the surgery would be redundant.

In the end they'll either be upset without surgery for not being called their preferred gender without any cues and they'll be upset with surgery as they'll see by people's faces that they can see something has been done. It's a no-win game in the same way people with depression don't just get happy because their circumstances improve and bipolar people don't get to be calm just because the cirmstances are stable.

Trying to not get judgement or have people take on their opinions earnestly is just wishful thinking and trying to force it is just another source of malice in the world.

Higher render rates do this. With more power means more calculations per frame which means cleaner free physics and so less glitchy unstructured games.
