Some of the enemies are massive and they should be a threat you don't want to brush up against. The damage noise+pause is so good too, super annoying in the best way to make you not want to mess up (there was a video I watched recently that talked about that, made me appreciate the mechanic in a deeper way). It mostly annoys me against teleporting enemies because you can't really predict where they're going to pop in. I lost 9000 geo (again) on the third set of those grimkin because I forgot to grab my shade, and when I realized and made a dash for it he teleported into my dash path for two masks of damage >_> Speaking of which I tried fighting Nightmare King Grimm a few times and safe to say I was pwned --- MZero, to the extreme I never saw azuarc coming, but he won the Guru! |

In general I assume most people would accept the highest win% as the best season, but if it was the Lakers (Lebron) there would be a lot of haters saying it doesn't count. It probably also depends on if that team won the finals. FF7 isn't even in my top 5 FF games and I never thought the story was all that great, so I didn't mind them changing it but the changes they did make were really dumb. I didn't like the combat either, and there was a lot of unnecessary padding. Part of me really wants to play all of the original first because of apparent changes they made to the story. At the same time, that seems dumb especially when I've already played the opening Midgar portion of the original FF7, so I highly doubt I do that. But because I'm curious, does having played the original enhance the experience at all outside of plain nostalgia? I think I'm aware of the general twist storytelling that Remake presents (though no need to expand on it in this topic please), but it seems to be accepted since people stopped complaining about it after the game came released. you've played through Midgar, so you'll get most of it anyway. Same with Howling Cliffs, so I never went to either of those areas. Speaking of which, I stumbled into the place the grubs stay for the first time since rescuing one and got absolutely showered with geo and goodies. Then I beat the Warrior's Trial.
