So I WAS super hyped for it when it was announced and first being worked on, and I still am curious in it because I think I'll like it, but the marketing has been kind of a shit show with the trans stuff and then the crunch. So I kinda feel just icky supporting a game that honestly feels more and more to me like it's basically just gentrification in the form of a video game, pretending it's this revolutionary thing with the theme and setting without actually truly committing.

That being said, I still kinda want it but I'm gonna try to wait to get it used at Gamefly at some point.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with Pyre at the top! Very overlooked compared to their other 3 games, I get that with the whole visual novel aspect it makes it a bit harder to stream and what not but man that's what I love about it.

Yea Ghosts of Tsushima SHOT up after TLoU2 had been winning, I think it partly had to do with Neil Druckmann tweeting out a "joke" about activating the TLoU fandom to vote for it to stop the haters or something and it went semi viral lol

Would have been nice to see Hades win it but it seemed like it was always between TLoU2 and Ghosts

Also they didn't get cancelled the lead singer was literally convicted and sentenced to something like 30 years for sexual assault of children under 13, and so the band ended. It wasn't some big cancelling conspiracy that was their downfall

I'm still playing through the Switch version, I think I'm near the end of the game I'm just cleaning up on quests

The Switch graphics honestly don't bother me, the game has such a distinct artstyle that any "lesser" graphics the Switch version has is like barely noticeable to me. Framerate dips sometimes but not nearly enough for it to affect me.
