As a pilot, I think having an LG Wing would be cool. I've had my eye on it for a while, but wanting to get some more use out of my ThinQ before upgrading again. The dual-screen phone has been pretty cool, though. Using two apps at once seems useless at first, until you get used to it then it's kinda hard to go back lol.

I will agree with everyone here that the game is fairly easy and straightforward. This is not the game to get if you are looking for a challenging game.

With that being said, I still enjoyed the game for the ride. The Wild Area is great. The reason people say that you can easily get overleveled in there is because it's a fun place to explore and you can get lost hours in there looking for new pokemon and exploring the different biomes. If you get the DLC, the Wild Area space is more than tripled!

For me, the most fun of the game is just exploring the beautiful landscapes and seeing what pokemon you're run into. The story is second-fiddle in this game. I honestly had more fun just exploring than following the story with any seriousness.

I agree with the spirit of the topic but in practical terms insurance can and does help when you need it. I happened to get insurance with my new phone just because and I am glad I did. Within one month of having my phone, it became unresponsive due to a manufacturing issue. They replaced it with a new one. Six months later, it happened again. Once again, they replaced it with a new one.

There is the manufacturer's warranty, but without insurance, there was a copay associated with replacing the phone (I think it was $100). That's right, you have to pay to replace the defective phone they sent you.

The system absolutely sucks but we have to work with what we got.

As a result of the winds, people will also excrete large amounts of serotonin, which is associated with the nervous system, the professor said. People become a little more, what shall I say, hyper . . . a little more tense, a little more irritable. So whatever their normal condition might be . . . they become twice as irritated, or you have problems with people fighting, etc.

As a child watching the show, I loved Kel more for his catch phrases and his orange soda gimmick (I too loved orange soda).

As I got older, on rewatches I seemed to appreciate Kenan's humor more, as I felt that was more substance to his character.

Kel felt more like an Ed and Kenan felt more like an Eddy. Perhaps if they had an Edd they would have been more successful in their schemes.

What degenerate secrets are you people hiding to wake up at an ungodly hour while normal people are asleep and businesses have yet to open up?

At least society recognizes that night owls are proper way to live life and cater to them by staying open late.
Not quite accurate.

As a morning person, I've taken advantage of the following businesses that cater to early birds like myself:
  • The gym (and those early morning fitness classes)
  • Oil change location
  • Doctor visits
  • Local breakfast place
  • Community events like farmer's markets, garage sales
  • 5ks, mud runs, polar plunge
  • Local news/weather

Most of those don't cater to the night owl. Us morning people have our own culture with our own interests. We're not about that night life.

Both testaments of the Bible are interesting in their own right. I grew up on two different religions since my parents belonged to different churches and it's amazing just how often the old testament and the new testament contradict each other.

One of the most memorable examples is the ten commandments. The Old Testament ten commandments are different than the New Testament ten commandments, where it's claimed that they were rewritten and modernized. One of the reasons for this was to justify observing Sundays instead of Saturdays when the commandments dictated to "observe the Sabbath". It's been many years so I don't remember all the finer details but that stuck out to me, as my mom's religion went to church on Saturdays and my dad's religion went to church on Sundays and there would often be arguments about it based on the Bible.

Yeah, one of the strategies when thinking of filing bankruptcy is to go to your account settings for most debts and change your phone number to a Google phone number that goes straight to voicemail.

Granted, once you actually file bankruptcy, they all get a notice in the mail in about one to two weeks telling them they have to stop calling you, and at that point they all will or they can get in serious legal trouble.

The Google phone number method is helpful up until you file (and the waiting period until they receive their notices). It's also helpful for those attempting debt settlement.

Personally, I think Paris is the best. It's just as emotionally charged as the first one with Chuckie's "No" scene but also takes the zaniness of the show to ridiculous levels by having a group of babies manning a giant robot (and not being an imagination sequence). Also being a direct continuation and resolution of the beloved Mother's Day special helps.

This is one of my favorite shows. As you said, I love how it starts as a "stereotypical" show about an obsessed girl's wild antics, but then transitions into a show that really dives into her psychological issues. You come in thinking it's just another romanticized version of Hollywood romantic comedies but it hits pretty hard once you see the real problems everyone is dealing with.

In addition to Rebecca, I think a great example of how this show was more than what you originally thought was with Valencia's character arc. She's initially depicted as the stereotypical rival for the love interest, being mean, vapid, and controlling. But you soon get to know her more and realize there is a lot more depth to her character, to the point where you start to care about her.

And don't even get me started on the songs. I have a hard time picking my favorite songs as most of them are so good. Some notable ones are:
Let's Generalize About Men (Makes fun of your typical chick flick)

The Moment is Me (Love how the most pessimistic character is forced to be inspirational)

No One Else is Singing My Song (I'm a sucker for ensembles and this lampshades it)

Legit question, how do people with that kind of leave make it work? I work for a school, so I get many of those "school holidays", but I can't imagine being able to do all my doctor/dentist appointments, take my car to the mechanic (for both pre-planned and emergency service), be available for when the plumber/cable guy/HVAC guy comes to do repairs, or simply be home with the flu for a few days with only 15 days of leave per year. And that's not even touching on vacations or personal days in general.

Do you just do leave without pay every time or do you manage to not have any of the above ever apply to you?

Depends on the type of remote work you are doing.

For some upper-level work, it can be annoying as you are often depending on other people. Even if you can motivate yourself to not procrastinate at work and stay productive, your coworkers likely would not, and take forever to get back to you. And a lot of remote work is getting through digital bureaucracy of getting this person to approve this, and that person to approve that, then submit to this person for processing. If just one person decides to binge something on Netflix while working, it can slow everything down. And you have no way of getting a hold of them. They almost never answer their phone (if you even have their cell number or if they bothered to forward their office line), and you can't just walk over to their desk/office to hurry them up. And as others have said, if you have crappy internet service and it goes down, that can affect you job performance.

Now, if you are working a lower-level remote job like a call center or other customer support job, I'd imagine it's easier and more ideal. You only interact with the customer who calls or IMs and rarely have to put up with other coworkers and bosses. But those jobs are hard to get and can often bring their own frustrations from dealing with customers from what I've heard.

BTW, for those worried about COVID, Universal actually has pretty good measures for safe practices. They enforce their mask rules pretty well. Like they watch you like a hawk. They sanitize every ride and railing every few minutes. Their lines are all 6 feet apart, and rides separate you where you have entire rows to yourselves and space in between rows.

I saw a family get kicked out for taking off their masks just once.

Much better than what airports, restaurants, and gyms are doing.

Yeah I can see why they did it. Many of their plots would be inappropriate if they cast an actual 12 year old girl to do them. Things like changing room scenes, underwear selfies, pulsating crotches and masturbation would cause Cuties-level outrage if they used actual preteens, so I can understand the stylistic choice of having adults do it instead.

Though I am amused by how they use very obvious adult body doubles for the kissing scenes.
