I'm fine with background checks, but i'm going to forever be on the same page of "Assault rifle looks scary so it's more dangerous" being absurd. You can not buy fully automatic assault rifles, otherwise, they function the exact same as a standard rifle that is clip fed, the same as any hunting rifle that you can buy at Walmart. If anything, hunting rifles are more accurate, and you can buy larger caliber rifles that will do more damage than an assault rifle.

For the record, I am a gun owner, I don't own an assault rifle, and i'm pretty much liberal in stance. I think an assault rifle ban would cause more harm than good, especially if they try to take them from the people who already own them. It will turn ugly fast.

I get that way also, and I work a full time job. My mindset is usually i'm off now, make the best of it. If I go to bed now, I wake up and go right back to work. It's procrastination through and through, but you need those mental breaks also.

Maybe they brine it beforehand, or they use a ton of oil when they cook it and cover it. Not entirely sure to be honest. I smoked a whole turkey for Thanksgiving this past year and I brined it for 16 hours before cooking it and it was easily the moistest turkey I ever had when it was finished. I slow smoked/cooked it for nearly 12 hours so that might have helped too. I talk to the local family owned BBQ pit master guy here in town and he swears by brining everything to get the best out of a variety of meats.

Man it's so much better than it should have been. I went into it so skeptical and after the 2nd episode of season 1 I just binged all the way through. I've heard that Netflix or Hulu may pick it up and do another season, i'd be so happy.

Anyone in Texas, I stress this, leave at least 3 faucets running on a fast drip, kitchen, bathroom especially. If it costs you an extra $5 on your water bill, it's a hell of a lot cheaper than what you will deal with if your pipes freeze. They can explode in those conditions, resulting in a much worse repair. I know this is pretty common knowledge closer to the North, but you guys don't experience freezing like this hardly ever.

I'm basically only water and flavored seltzer water anymore, like La Croix and Perrier. It takes a bit getting used to the bitterness, but once you do, it's a viable replacement without any artificial sweeteners. It's not for everyone though.
