| BetrayedTangy 02/06/21 5:19:50 PM #174 | That entire sequence is definitely one of my favorite gaming experiences. I loved how they used physics in the first one. So playing around with all the different gels was a blast, then you also get Cave Johnson on top of that. So I actually temporarily jumped ahead of Deus Ex and have been playing Dark Souls. I figured Deus Ex would be a good side game for when I need a break from DS. But yeah I've been really enjoying it so far! I'm currently at the Undead Parish bonfire. I absolutely adore the nonlinear fashion of it all in addition to all the secrets. Like the game's hard, but you can easily find power weapons just by experimenting. Like I managed to find the Zweihander, Drake and Black Knight swords, just by challenging myself. The bloodstains and messages add another fun level to things as they help push you towards the secrets (especially with the Drake sword). Really cool stuff! --- |

For all the claims of Rey being a Mary Sue, at least she felt like she had to grow and learn (perhaps too fast, but still), whereas Carol is just fucking perfect from the word go. Oh don't get me wrong Carol's only 'development' was realizing she's perfect from the beginning, but I still felt like there was more life to her than Rey. As far as the Brie Larson takes go, she seemed pretty actively hostile during that time. I distinctly remember an interview with her, Chris Hemsworth and Don Cheadle where Chris was joking with her saying Thor's stronger and she looked and acted genuinely angry about it. Like I get fans being annoying, but if that's how she was with fellow cast members that's kind of ridiculous idk tho. --- |

Then during a chase scene the protagonist runs into them, but turns around and sees another and another, then they eventually close in. Hot Fuzz came really close story wise, but I don't think it has an actual scene that does that. --- |

It's in every movie after that he starts to become really annoying. By IW and Endgame he's trying so hard to be funny that it just turns into cringe. I think a great Hulk movie is possible, but certainly not in the current state of the MCU. --- |

So I tend to worry about my train of thought coming across, that I forgot something or repeated words and phrases too much. Sometimes I have a tab open because I plan on posting something, but I feel too much time has passed or that my point isn't really strong enough and just... close the tab instead of posting it. >_> I totally do the same thing, so you're not alone dude. Least Favorite: EA, it's an obvious answer, but for good reason. Most Overrated: Nintendo, not only do their business practices suck, but the fanbase also jerks them off to no end. I do still enjoy a vast majority of their games tho. --- |
