Snorlax is one of the best designs in all of Pokemon. Munchlax is not.

Snorlax. Though I am biased because Snorlax is my favorite Pokemon.
I had a disdain for Munchlax pretty much since its inception. They made capturing it in Gen 3 one of the hardest Pokemon to find in the wild. --- Your new reigning and defending Guru Champion is azuarc! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't particularly like either, but Snorlax has far stronger nostalgic ties. Snorlax was also around before the need to milk the franchise harder with baby pokemon. Snorlax also exhibits clean simple aesthetic design elements that say a lot without being busy...he'd probably get along with Baymax. Snorlax also probably would not care about any of this or any of us. Snorlax is pretty alright now that I think about it. Snorlax would likely be a better president than anyone since Clinton. Typing Snorlax this much is making me sleepy. Zzz

Snorlax is more unique and has the nostalgia factor on top of that. Munchlax is fine too though.
