It is difficult. I have taken care of my mom for 7 years who is in the last stage of Alzheimer's. Where I live Covid is running rampant through our nursing homes.

Definitely. I have never been a fan of him but since he is president and we have to see him bumble and puff his chest out regularly he just solidified my opinion of him. But, I don't think it is just the right that has the victim mentality. It seems to be spread across both parties fairly equally. I think that is human nature to blame others. It is the easy way out.

Like at kid's birthday parties? Not that I remember. They were usually in the middle of the day and the only people there were the moms who probably just wanted the party over so they could rush home and drink in silence.

My mother has a terminal disease and is incontinent. I am her caretaker. I use a product called Kids and Pets. It works ok. I think there is one called My Pet Peed or something like that.

Cars will be difficult because it is enclosed and I can imagine the heat of the sun will make the smell worse. Scrub the Hell out of it with more than one product, air freshener and airing it out as much as possible as suggested above but you might be able to get one of these products or something like it from a pet store. Good luck with the poop stench.

It is really nobody's concern except the family involved. My home will always be open for my kids to come back to if they need to for any amount of time. Right now I also am living with my mother but I have moved her into my home because of a terminal illness.

Depends on how filthy the damned house is. Ordinarily I take them off but I have been in some houses that have so much junk and questionable stuff on the floor that my shoes are staying on.

I had to work in the broiler houses starting at age 8 or so each summer, also helped feed the cows and help with vaccinating and tagging them. I didn't have to do household chores.

Never. I donate food to soup kitchens and clothing and other items to a halfway house resale shop ran by former addicts and folks who have had a bad turn in their lives. I really love that store. These people are trying so hard to get back into a normal life.

When I was doing technology conferences and had to travel these guys were always on my mind. I would remind the others at the conferences to check the beds for bedbugs and hopefully there isn't a body under that box the mattress is sitting on.

This too is sickening. I don't understand keeping the knee on the neck or back when someone has definitely stopped fighting. This guy was pleading, just as Mr. Floyd was which is what anybody would do. Also, some people WOULD resist or appear to be resisting when down like this when they are not fighting the cops but are fighting to live.

I am not an expert on medication by no means but who gave him the sedative? Why give a sedative to someone when you are not certain of what medications are already in their system? Again, I know nothing of procedures or meds but drugging on top of drugs seems dangerous.

The jovial manner these cops have is damned disgusting. No concern for the man, but some slight concern for themselves when they think they might have killed him. Power trip and a lot of buddy buddy shit right there.

The only concern is the paramedic who seems disgusted by them and saddened at the death.

Something needs to change with police training and screening from the ground up and the BLM and protests hopefully will get the ball rolling. It is just a shame that it had to take another senseless death to do that.

I'm OK. I live far away from even a small town. But, my husband works there and the business he works for has 3 cases of Covid in the employees and my father in law owns a trailer park that has 4.

On the upside the stray cat that has been hanging around had finally let me pet her after many months. I also found her 2 kittens in an old tree house but I am not going to disturb them because I don't want her to move them. Hopefully I can get her calm enough I can get her in a crate to have her fixed. Same with the kittens before they reach adulthood.

I swear off pets then a stray shows up. Never fails.

Mostly good but a one that I just didn't think was right and another was a weirdo.

We had an far away football game so I was coming home late that Friday night. I had driven probably 2 miles from the school and got stopped by a state trooper. He asked me what was I doing out so late on a Friday night. I told him I was in band and had been at an away game. He told me the reason he stopped me is my outside tire had gone over the white line. This was a part of the road where a 4 lane turned into a 2 lane so it gets narrow....plus looking the next day the white line is double painted....there is actually 2 white lines, one older than the other. Anyway, he didn't give me a warning, I got a ticket that said I was driving on the shoulder. I thought that made me sound like I was much more reckless than a tire going over a line.

I got stopped once in a nearby town by a city cop. He said I was going 60. Lol, he stopped me at a top of the hill when I had just turned into the highway at the bottom. There was no way my old car could do that, but I didn't argue. I went to city hall and paid the ticket. A few days later I got a call from city hall telling me to come get my money back. Apparently that cop was not supposed to be patrolling that night, he had been suspended because he was stopping females for his jollies. The cop later lost his job and I am guessing it was for this type of thing.

I am ready. I will be OK staying home. I can't believe how many people thinks this is all made up. Some of our schools are mulling over what to do next fall when they open. Many parents are going to start homeschooling. One larger district has announced that they will have teachers to support the homeschooling alongside regular classes....or as regular as they can be with whatever new guidelines we have.
