Nice as hell, hold community get togethers, actually go out of their help people with basic shit (seen one of them pay for someones groceries that couldn't afford it). So, it's very much a sweeping statement. Cops are just people, there's shit ones and great ones and everywhere in between. That said, bad news always spreads like wildfire. Good news spreading tends to go as slowly as possible. |

People like to use it to ignore other races problems and put it all in the person ignoring stereotyping and societal fears and other shit that causes actual problems as a "lol it happened in the past move on" kinda deal. Not the proper way to do it at all. So, much like everything else, depends on how and who is doing it. Most of the time it's all thinly veiled racism. |

| R_Jackal 07/03/20 6:25:13 PM #8 | She's one of few I watch, primarily because even with limited knowledge of Japanese she's entertaining and she still makes an effort to talk to overseas fans. Towa is another and she has so many English fans she's actually learning English while streaming in bits and pieces, and Pikamee because she switches between English and Japanese with no effort whatsoever. Definitely recommend checking them out. That's all I really know of though, but kinda just ran in to them looking at streamers for games I like. Korone with retro stuff, Towa with FPS, and Pikamee with Souls games. |

Masks disappeared, people stopped giving a shit, the protests were the only thing spoken of. Testing stations had damn near no one heading to them. So I personally think it did, but only because Americans seem to have short attention spans. Note I'm not talking about the protests but day to day to life activities like shopping for groceries. |

Granted it was likely balanced a bit by forcing some to stay indoors. But I also accept that it's really fucking hard to prove anything during that one way or the other. I also think reopening bars and beaches--entertainment spots that are absolutely unnecessary was a far bigger cause though. Ultimately however I think the biggest cause for spikes is because we were being half-assed on testing beforehand. |

The story's a good bit lighter even counting the dark parts and a good bit more comedic in off times. It also had a good bit of marketing after P3's success making it an entry point for a lot of people. So it's mostly just a case of old vs new fans. |

In reality, everyone that has them at this point knows that using them is basically signalling the end of multiple nations--if not humanity itself. The purpose of having them is essentially "Mine's bigger!" and being a deterrent from anyone trying to attack you. That said, they immediately lose that effect if you use them--once they know you WILL use them the "deterrent" aspect turns in to a "We have to end this nation" most likely at this point. If anyone were to use them, they'd likely essentially become the next World War's nazi's in history. Ironic given the circumstances there. |

Lockdowns are intended to spread out the diseases progress in hopes an adequate treatment and/or vaccine later down the line come up to help combat the condition as to not cause medical infrastructure to crumble under the weight, raising the death toll exponentially. It's not about limiting the number of cases really, but delaying the rise in them so we can respond to the best of our capabilities. Unless some form of treatment that is brought up(which is more likely to come quicker than the vaccine)... well, bad shit would've happened. |
