Yeah Jaraxxus is basically a joke character because his hero power is so bad. Toki is okay but probably tough for a beginner because you don't know what cards you're looking for in each tier. Finley is basically just a mulligan if your other hero choices aren't great.

Yeah the EZA Kamehameha Goten card is definitely the best Goten card in the game (not saying much but still). I'd still get a copy of each just to get the stones from the missions for EZAing them!

The original Chrono Trigger steam port was AWFUL until they patched it and fixed it. It was a bad port of the mobile version that they basically just slapped on steam

Yeah I agree that some of the GMM videos are hit or miss now. I'm surprised at just how many they had pre-recorded but I'm worrying that they're going to run out soon.

BA videos are good! I think those translated pretty easily to the work from home environment

Yeah I'm definitely going to do the Black Omen. I was waiting to get Crono back because the boss inside absolutely wrecked me the first time I tried to fight him. Having status immunity on everyone now will help

Wow I just got Crono back and I could have got him back way sooner. I feel like I'm almost done with all of the side quests already and I could have had him back immediately. Based on my knowledge of the game I was expecting some intricate quest to recruit Magus, like Vincent in FF7, instead of just asking me if we want to fight him.

Magus is great and I love his silly hovering around levels. If this game ever gets a remake I'd like to see more interaction between Frog and Magus. Frog just kinda shrugs and says okay you're cool now even though his entire character so far has been to defeat Magus.

Game is still great though

I wish I could give you some SSBE dupes because I think I've pulled him 8 or 9 times. I'm almost ready to avoid these banners just because I really do not want to pull any more UI Goku or SSBE Vegeta.

I haven't been able to avoid temptation for any of the other major banners but I'm going to do my best to avoid these I think. I've only got 375 stones for 5th anniversary and I know I'm going to need more than that.

I hover around 7000 and I think I identified one of my major weaknesses today. I'm okay at transitioning but my biggest problem is transitioning OUT of a strong early game. If I get a good murloc start then I'll spend an entire turn rolling for murlocs instead of just improving my board and I fall so far behind.

Is there some general rule like roll 3 or 4 times but still try to buy 2 units every turn? Replacing a 2/3 murloc with a 4/3 shredder seems like a bad play even though it's technically better stats and effect. How do you grapple between playing for this turn and playing a win?

That's one of the worst parts of the game yeah. It picks up when you get Dante but like someone else mentioned his missions are literally just playing through the first half of the game backwards. They clearly ran out of dev time for Dante.

I'm about 10 hours in, just got my stuff stolen by Dalton and wow this game rules. The only other thing I know is that you can recruit Magus and I'm a little nervous about missing something and not recruiting him. No spoilers please though

An ARMS character was announced as the first character but they haven't said who it is yet. I believe they said the first character is still on track for a June release.

Yeah the mid dance scene Aerith reaction is very funny when you're doing 0/28. I kinda wish the actual dance changed to be bad though, as far as I can tell it's the same scene no matter what you do.

Yeah my gut says that Deathrattle Goldrinn is more consistent than Mama Bear builds but I don't know the stats. With Goldrinn/Baron you can spend the early game actually buffing your beasts but with Mama Bear you basically have to start over once you get her. Getting a Mama Bear really early is obviously better but that's pretty tough to do with how aggressive games are now.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's worth a playthrough as Vergil at some point, he's different enough to keep it interesting.

On your first play through you can't do Aerith battle simulations I believe. You need to beat the game and then use chapter select to go back to chapter 17. You need to skip like 2 cutscenes and 1 battle and then you can access battle simulator again.

Reno mage is my favorite deck but I've been getting wrecked lately. It seems like every other popular deck right now is aggro so it's a little hard to keep up. I might switch back to highlander mage and see if that fares any better.

I mean Sephiroth was a "good guy" until he wasn't so a redemption arc would be sort of believable.

I mean Rogue, DH, Warrior, Mage, Priest are obvious bans. I guess you ban Hunter for the 6th slot so that only leaves Paladin, Shaman, and Druid.

The rest of the format is kinda important though, do you need to win with each of your 3 decks or something? In that case people could just build counter decks to target 1 class.

Yeah also mug for me. My shop today had the red corner for boxing ring. I ordered 4 to add to my work-out beach but is there a corner that lets you actually get in the ring?

After like 10 hours you'll be throwing full weapons away to pick up better weapons. Complaints about that system are so overblown because people get potion syndrome and don't want to use their resources. The beginning of the game is intentionally light on resources so that you can learn to be crafty and work with what the world gives you.

It's not exclusive to hard mode but there's no reason to not select hard mode because you pick the difficulty for the fights anyway.

I usually research if "normal" mode is too easy and my standard setting is hard. I don't really remember the last time I played a game on easy but nothing against that.

Decided to try the LGE again with Hybrid Saiyans because I haven't done it in a while. STR UI Goku 1 shot STR Goten from full health with a 40% reduction item in place. I really really hate this mode. Why are his normal attacks still doing 50k after a 40% reduction item. Do you really need to use 2 reduction items to even stand a chance?

The timeline really doesn't make any sense if you try to connect FFX and FF7 so I think it's just a little easter egg

Good on them for setting up a character and then immediately following up. Overwatch sets up a lot of cool characters and waits too long to actually add them to the game I think. I mean they add characters too slowly in Overwatch in general but why bother introducing a character like Junker Queen if you're not going to add her to the game until 5 years later?

I really liked Caius and I almost kept playing just to see where his story went but I couldn't make it through the gameplay anymore. I ended up reading a plot summary for 13-2 and Lightning Returns because I decided I couldn't spend any more time in the dumb world they created.
