Playing Halo Reach and it doesn't feel that much different from other FPS games (never been a big Halo person before so I don't know much about it though). | Hexenherz 07/04/20 2:25:02 PM #23 | Looking around, he should be eligible for an auto loan through USAA with a 600 credit score. Interest rate will probably be a little on the higher side though. I'd recommend he just get a loan for like $10k, buy a used car not to exceed that amount and call it good. You can easily negotiate something like an average used Jetta or Elantra for less than that. There aren't as many places that have public transportation so we feel stranded without a vehicle. I'm not sure how public transportation is in Fort Hood Texas though. Fort Hood is the most populous US military installation in the world, it's larger than New York City in terms of area. There are usually buses or shuttles on base to transport people from the barracks to certain work centers and the PX/Commissary but the schedules aren't always the greatest, especially if you're working over night. Besides that, still scratching my head at the "military don't need cars" comment, we have to pay for everything like everyone else, if you live out in town you *definitely* need a vehicle to get to work and even if you live on base you're generally limited to the PX, bowling alley and maybe a rundown cinema for entertainment. Regardless, don't co-sign a loan for a friend. I hated that show when I saw it the first time on TV just because the narration was so annoying and I didn't find the writing clever, but started it again and it's actually really awesome how they get into all the tradecraft.
