idk, it feels like your main gripe is just that you believe the film demonizes the rich people and glorifies the poor which is a valid take, in fact the film is meant for us to have different interpretations of it. The film does also show that the rich people have their own troubles and that being poor doesn't excuse the actions they take as well. It's just an all-around Shakespearean tragedy. Using it being unrealistic as criticism is really weird though, which is why my second sentence might've seemed a bit harsh. All fictional movies are unrealistic and compared to most movies it's fairly grounded.

That's odd. I would expect the store to be getting their yeast wholesale instead of using their sale inventory, but I guess if there's enough of a shortage that wholesalers would focus on retail products instead, stores might have to rely on that.

Ive always had to argue a bit to get it back. Some places try to just keep the whole thing by default. One place tried charging us like $100 just to clean the oven when we moved out and I had to show them pictures to show that I had scrubbed the thing spotless

Thats you versus the dollar signs saw. Heck big rental corps do that all the time in which a property manager tries to say the deposit was refunded but they tell the client its witheld due to one reason or another (recaulking the tub, cleaning fridge/oven, or rehinging the doors).
