It depends on how it was gone about, legally speaking. If someone is razzed or bullied into a response that gets them banned and nothing is done about the people who participated in the bullying, I can see a case being made of that. It depends entirely on the game b. A final fantasy title yeah after 40 hours and an unskipable laugh scene yeah I was done. Or me3 in which yes I would replay for the different colored endings but beyond that the deferent classes didnt leave me wanting to play again. And those are aaa titles. So replay isnt important as long as the overall product is well crafted.

Games like gears though while the story is meh(atleast 3rd installment forward) however they doubledowned on that with multiplayer and co-op. They turned that franchise to the max. Honestly I hate gears all together but looking at what they did I can appreciate the fact they gave the players their money worth.

For indie titles its mre important for replay. Often these games are short and have low presence in the market. Replay sets them apart especially if you got a friend who says im looking to play it. Because the response is usually either I played that a few years back vs I am on my forth playthrough and I broke 10 million brewing beer. You can see how replay will get more people to give a look.

I dont like cheapened replay like nier automata. 27 endings. They really dont classify as endings though a/b are more like pokemon red/blue its the same game but taking two different paths as different characters. C/d were more like just the second half of the game. E was lets get you to play 5 saves worth and all the others were just oops game overs. Not exactly what you wanna call replay ability

Well I wouldnt put it all in scifi. You know how American horror story asylum had demons vs alien sub plot. The x files caters to plain consperacy theory, alien, trangenetics, plain inbred rednecks, ancient evils, god, the devil, angels, military superweapons, and just good ole fashion serial killers.

So yeah it was the creature of the week. Just make sure if you watch the first movie dont do it to around season 3. It revisits some prior plots and could spoil the atmosphere

I'm just saying investing in a movie for about 30 mil seems like a waste if not given a broader release. Now I mentioned asylum before and they invest about 3 mil and rely on in home viewing (dvd, blue ray, streaming and digital purchase). It seems like some of these movies are being signed up for failure. Nelvania with rock and rule was supposed to be a blockbuster especially if you see the talent list (lots of a list muscians) heck they turned down heavy metal for it. The publisher edited the film and then released it limited and of course it floped. MGM then because they only made 30k on the 8 mil budget tried to buy out nelvania which they refused and then nelvania began churning out cartoons.

I know this sounds like a conspiracy but it seems some publishers are trying to fail the content in order to get the rights to the content permanently

I just finished the movie Midnight Special. Gotta say growing up in a church that was featured yeah it hit me on a note that most people wont get. So I looked up info on this trying to see why a movie with high production values and in my taste of sci fi went under the radar. WB never published it widely.

Why does this happen. While I personally hate parasite people should have atleast got a chance to see it. The only reason why its known is because of the awards. This happens alot. Heck Rock and Rule produced by nelvania(every cartoon worth watching in the 80s was done by these guys) the distribution company that had there movie rights was bought out and basically sabotaged at the movie theater level.

I know that some companies like asylum make their money off of direct to video mockbusters but I am talking movies that invest 30 mil into it and basically only get 180 theaters to show it world wide. (Rock and rule only got 18 in canada)

What kind of weird Twilight Zone have I stepped into where people describe Harvest Moon as being like Stardew Valley?

Because honestly this game doesnt feel like a harvest moon or song of seasons. Kinda like how rune factory was a spin of this game is kinda what caused the name change
