Ive been married for 6 years. 6 glorious years. Weve had our ups and downs, but she is gorgeous, funny, a blast to just kick it with, and has great taste in almost everything.

Marriage is taking it a step further, saying that Ill never give up on you no matter what, and publicly stating it. Anyone can just stay together for 10 years. Trust me, if you ever do get married, tough times will come. Times that will test your relationship. Right now, you are just coasting.

Divorces happen because people dont invest in each other, simple as that.

My wife and I enjoyed up until season 6 or so, then just stopped watching it. Tyrion was the only reason to watch, to hear his retorts and jabs at others.

So thankful our HBO ran out and we just stopped watching, cause wow...what a train wreck. The prequel is going to have little to no hype.

Hear me out.

The first half of the day should focus on general learning. Maybe three 1-hour courses that dive into History, Math, and Science. Then after lunch, there should be rotating workshops offered throughout the year, some with month-long curriculums, and some year long.

Say there is a month long workshop that teaches kids how to make an app. The best one gets uploaded to Apple, and the proceeds go to a local charity. Or maybe someone really gets into history, and wants to advocate for people. They could then join a lawyer workshop where they go watch court proceedings, discuss it, and read and write essays on all types of social issues. Or a car workshop where you can learn the inner workings of any vehicle, and learn how to tear down and build up anything. How about a robotics class, because we all know robots will replace humans one day, so we should teach our youth to actually get jobs in this growing industry. People interested in the medical profession can literally visit the medical profession, in hospitals, clinics, and the like.

Clubs need to stop being an after school activity, because school is long enough. Get the kids in a classroom to learn the basics, so history doesnt repeat, and they can figure out what they like/dislike, then after they get an energy boost from lunch, give them 2 hours to build, fix, discuss, think, and do.

So many kids these days get out of school tired, and just want to go home and plop themselves in front of a TV. If that kid just had 2 hours of work on an app, or a robot, or discussing a crazy court case with their peers, they wont go home looking for comfort, but looking for knowledge.

You gave us one example, a woman who prays for authority. Nothing wrong with praying for the people who are in power, her prayers are sorta misguided, but its a start. Also, praying for someone =/= worshipping someone. I think its sweet, while you may think prayer is some horrible thing that leads to a cult, I see it as an older woman who may not have much to offer, so she prays for her family, her leaders in power, etc. But again, most people nowadays see religion as bad, so it doesnt surprise me that you see her as this cult-like lady praying for our doom.

Also, maybe this woman has seen the destruction that socialism can wrought, as it has in early 20th century Europe, or Cuba, or Venezuela, so they are praying against a socialist agenda in America. Nothing wrong with that, different people have different views to our government, and that is the beauty of America.

Also, the Democratic side is so incredibly against any kind of voting card, as they want even illegal aliens to vote, so your idea isnt quite thought out.

Problem with believing that time is just a structure we came up with is that if it was random, it is DAMN exacting, because we can predict solar eclipses hundreds of years from now. The Earth is perfectly tilted to allow 4 seasons to last about the same length of time, and we've just structured it to last exactly 12 months, with a leap year every 4 years.

Everything is just so carefully crafted, that to believe it came from nothingness is quite a stretch. Imagine a video game made from a randomly generated creator, and just imagine how TERRIBLE it would be.

I love Stephen Colbert, but his political spin is just tiresome and one-sided. Oliver is okay, but it isn't the traditional late-night. Jimmy Fallon is just too fake, and has terrible guests. Jimmy Kimmel isn't particularly funny, at least I don't think so.

Projecting much? That was just adding to the other guy's point about certain values and aspects of the Bible that are completely out-of-line with modern society.

But how else would anyone look at a father offering his own daughters to a sex-crazed mob?

It was a story about how a God-fearing man went into a perverted city in hopes of being a light in a dark place. The problem was he let the dark place influence him, and in the end, he made horrible decisions in hopes of "pleasing" angels.

Lot's daughters became the first instance of incest in the Bible, which means that because he sinned and entered a city that God condemned, and went against God's will, his decision brought about incest.

But I get it, you look at the Bible with "eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear", as Jesus said. AKA, you are LOOKING for inconsistencies, and missing the storyline.

The trailer was enough for me to see that this girl is not marriage material. The documentary was all about her "struggle" to rise, to fight, to win. Girl, you have millions of dollars, millions of adoring fans, and probably never had to struggle for one day of your life. This whole things seems like extremely desperate.

I beg to differ. Have you been to the tallest mountain? Have you seen some of the islands with sprawling cliffs in the Pacific? Have you seen the Aurora Borealis? Have you seen Victoria Falls?

This Earth is bonkers, and to believe it came into form by chance is just insane. Yes, I'm using terrible arguments, but we've seen how talented humans have to be to come up with art, so why the hell do we also believe that nothingness can create the best art that's ever arted?

I'm at $1,300 a month, and I purchased my house 3 years ago, and I'm thankful I did, because the price has gone up 20% in that time. Zillow shows it going up 30%, but I don't really believe that, as a house around the corner with similar specs shows 20%.

I can see why people have to rent.

Problem is too many people share TCs perspective, and no one wants to stay together through the rough times.

Im 6 1/2 years into marriage and Ive been through the best times, and the worst. Im talking health stuff, hospitals, horrible weeks on top of weeks with stress, money troubles, and I wouldnt change a thing. My wife is my everything.
