1) You want a fine example of voice acting across a game, and not an isolated sound effect that's memorable.
2) That the work itself is famous and not the person doing the voicework.

Therefore:

This is what I assumed too, I took performance to mean like, a full on *performance* and not just a handful of sound bytes. You could read into it different ways but that was how I interpreted this

I dunno what to do with this one so I'll wait for a convincing argument from someone else

I not that long ago had next door neighbors who frequently left their dog outside to roam the neighborhood, and it would frequently come into our yard, one time it barked directly outside of my first-floor bedroom window at 4 in the morning. when we told them to keep their dog inside or on a leash they did not care

I was pretty close to calling animal control, but I didn't want to because we were kind of scared of the neighbors for reasons (long story) so we dragged our feet. They fortunately moved away, much to my delight.

Zelda 1, this was not a difficult question because it is already a top 5 game for me

I had to ask about games and not series because of FF5

Not that many franchises even manage to get 4 characters in the contests at all, so it's pretty hilarious that Borderlands of all things managed it with 4 characters as fodderific as those four

Who does Xenoblade have besides Shulk, Dunban, and Reyn?

This is a hard question to answer because how "pointless" can a character be while still being a "major" character?

Probably something like 50 of Smash's playable characters have made a contest so this is not what I asked :p

I thought of this but also the game doesn't have named playable characters so it wasn't really what I was trying to think of, AC is in the same boat

this question just occurred to me because I think it's extremely weird that Final Fantasy 5 has had two characters but neither of them are any of the game's main playable characters OR the game's main villain

There was part of me that wondered if Final Fantasy threw out so many random R1 losers over the years that it might actually be able to reach a losing record, but it just has too many wild success stories to wind up in that territory

I'm curious which franchises named were wrong by the way, I'm guessing Street Fighter and Resident Evil at the least have thrown enough duds out there to end up with losing records
