The FDA already approved it, and even approved it as a preventative measure for children who will be traveling in areas affected by malaria. It's also perfectly legal for doctors to prescribe medications for off-label use. That said, I suppose this is a good example of why it's illegal for a drug company to advertise off-label uses, and why it's illegal for drug companies to advertise prescription medications in most of the rest of the world.

Most people with the virus either show no symptoms, or just minor ones based on most sources I could find within the age brackets I mentioned. And do not require medical care.

To kill off most of our work force this virus would have to be nothing sort of a Spanish flu 2.0.

Not saying it wont ever mutate into such(hopefully not). But as it is now? Unlikely.

Unless the vast majoirty of our workforce are ages 50+ statistically that seems very unlikely. Unlike the Spanish flu that was the complete opposite of COVID-19 and killed mostly healthy and young adult between 20-40.
