i mean, re7 isn't anything like remake or re2make. it's a story driven first person game that has a fantastic first half and a blah second half. there are hardly any references to other re games, if you're looking for that. it was mostly made to cash in on the demand for something 'silent hills'-esque

i'd call it more similar to games like outlast

i went through this last year, when i was force to work from home because my company closed down their local HQ

it takes about 6 months to get over it, until then it's brutal. i also had to deal with being alone after a very long relationship, so that didn't make matters any better, hah.

you'll make it, don't worry about it, all of it calms down after a while.

btw i'm on cruise control right now. i've never been more relaxed in my life. it definitely gets better.

jc2 was so easy and fluid. all the polish and everything took a back seat to the fluidity and it made it really easy and fun to play. nothing was too difficult, everything was fun, everything was free and easy to use.

complicating that with questionable designs, or complex controls, or weird physics systems, is just going to give a worse and worse experience
