In a couple of ultra fancy restaurants we went to, it was vastly different. It was there and then that I learned that "real wasabi" is super expensive and is rarely served.Same. I ate at a few standardly-priced sushi places in Tokyo and Kyoto, and it's exactly the same. The channel has always consistently tried to appeal to teens and young adults, and the B&B revival wasn't it, especially since it was making fun of the things the channel took seriously. It sounds petty of them, but it kind of makes sense in a counterproductive sort sort of way.
