A growing cottage industry of what some managers call tattleware now caters to company leaders wanting some way to peer over workers shoulders and confirm their productivity. Several time-tracking and employee-monitoring companies, including ActivTrak, Hubstaff, Time Doctor and Teramind, told The Washington Post they have seen their customer base and revenue soar since the pandemic pushed many companies remote.

Several companies allow managers to regularly capture images of workers screens and list employees by who is actively working and their hours worked over the previous seven days.

One system, InterGuard, can be installed in a hidden way on workers computers and creates a minute-by-minute timeline of every app and website they view, categorizing each as productive or unproductive and ranking workers by their productivity score. The system alerts managers if workers do or say something suspicious: In a demo of the software shown to The Post, the words job, client and file were all flagged, just in case employees were looking elsewhere for work.
InterGuards system can also record all of the workers emails, instant messages and keystrokes, and takes pictures of workers screens as frequently as every five seconds, which managers can review as they please. You could literally watch a movie of what that person did, said Brad Miller, chief executive of the systems Connecticut-based parent company, Awareness Technologies.

Not all systems portray themselves as the work police, and some, like Pragli, suggest they can use always-on webcams and microphones to help bring workers closer together.

Pragli executives argue that emails and Slack messages, the traditional lifeblood of office communication, are socially unfulfilling: efficient but soulless, and powerless to combat the distractions and loneliness of working from home. In a company blog post last month, co-founder Doug Safreno wrote about how Pragli was born from his yearning for human contact, and how he believed features such as a frictionless video chat system could help create that sense of togetherness."

In an office, I would see other people at the water cooler. I could look up and see other people around me working. I passively heard people moving around in the office, he wrote. I knew I was part of a team working toward a shared mission.
A happier workforce, they argue, is ultimately more productive, and much of Pragli's infrastructure appears designed to maximize work output. The app's default setting automatically sends users an alert at 9 a.m.: Time to go to work!"

Praglis system measures employees keyboard and mouse usage to assess whether theyre actively working any more than 15 seconds can shift a worker from active to idle and allows anyone to instantly start a video conversation by clicking on another persons face, similar to swinging by their desk in a real-world office.

For that reason, Pragli recommends users keep their webcams and microphones on at all times; users can also connect their calendars and music playlists, so their co-workers know what theyre doing and listening to round-the-clock. Workers can also hop into specialized virtual rooms whenever they like, including a water cooler for workplace chitchat and a silent room for workers who dont talk but leave their microphones on, to convey the kind of ambient background noise one might hear in a coffee shop.

They are also developing a facial-recognition feature that could display a workers real-world emotion on their virtual avatars face; a beta version of the feature currently works only if the person smiles.

In a Pragli office, workers virtual avatars are lined up in a grid and viewable at all times. But another start-up, Sneek, takes that idea even further, uploading pictures of workers faces taken through their webcam as often as every minute for their colleagues to easily see.

There are some signs that all of this tech-enabled social monitoring is hitting a wall. The video-chat service Zoom recently removed an attention tracking setting, which alerted a call host when a participant was focused elsewhere, following public outcry about how invasive and creepy the feature seemed.

But some employees are registering their feelings in more subtle ways. At the High Plains Journal, one woman working from home with four kids gave her Pragli avatar a shock of white hair. And in meetings, when workers click the Celebrate button to fire off a burst of virtual confetti, Luce said its now almost always done sarcastically.

Bettye Young, an account executive at the journal who spends most of her day on the phone with clients, said the move to Pragli meant she had a whole other thing to watch. If shes in another room of her home in Dodge City, Kan., she can sometimes hear Luce, her supervisor, start talking through her computer, asking where she went.

Yeah the PSCT should be like

Heads up, I don't think there exists a LV4 or lower Neos monster except Elemental Hero Neos Alius. Neo-Spacians don't count, you have to name them separately. Basically, all main deck Neos cards except Neos Wiseman are HEROs, and Neos Wiseman is >LV4. Slime Time would be slightly more interesting if it could copy any level because it could copy Plasma.

You may only use this effect once per Duel per copy of "Elemental Hero Slime Time" in your deck.

May as well just make this thrice per duel in the sense of PSCT. Twin Headed Behemoth used to be limited because its once per duel clause was ruled to be like this, and it was too much of a hassle to track. You'd have to declare how many copies you're running or something and show your deck to your opponent.

WATER is decent for Mask Change -> Absolute Zero. But Aqua type means you can't search this with Reinforcements of through Army. And of course the best attribute for heroes is DARK.

The thing is, Elemental HERO Prisma already has this substitution effect, except it also gets to mill a HERO to the grave.

The SS after destruction isn't very strong because ideally you should never end your turn with this card just sitting on the field.

All that said, this card has a niche use as Neos support. It can copy the NEX fusion monsters. Which means you can copy Marine Dolphin to make Marine Neos and get a Confiscation effect.

Oh I'd much rather have taken a 'serious' statistics class. This was 301 "business statistics" and it's basically for people at risk of their brain falling out. I just didn't know any better. I'd have been much more engaged in a real statistics or probability class with proofs and stuff. Then I'd actually understand what I'm doing and how the formulas are derived. Business undergrad is just 4 years of trade school to learn how to exploit Microsoft Excel. I'm thinking of switching majors.

you're not really supposed to get much from math lectures. you read the book, do the examples by hand, do the practice questions by hand. that's how i got an A in trig and calc with a teacher that only spoke mandarin and broken english.

I was spoiled by my high school. I went through Calc BC and Discrete Math without needing to crack open the book except for practice problems. Professor didn't even teach to the AP test... still had 99% 4s and 5s. He was just that good. I have a notebook somewhere filled with his weird quotes.

Personally, I have a big forehead and a widow's peak. I notice my hairline is higher up than my dad's, but about equal with my mom (who I resemble much more). Barbers tell me my hair is really thick at least, which is slightly reassuring.

I don't think either of my grandpas balded, but my uncle is BAD. Like, holy shit. He won the opposite of the generic lottery.

As a student driver I got in the left lane to turn when we were going home. My mom was like "NO DOE OUR TURN IS ON THE RIGHT YOURE GOING THE WRONG WAY" and freaked me out. I didn't know what to do and she seemed suddenly really pissed so I tried to get into the right lane. But a car was coming and if I hadn't slammed the brakes I would've been t boned and probably got my mom killed.

I'm still kind of bitter about it because later she was like "oh everyone makes mistakes like that at first Doe." Bruh, you pressured me into making an illegal turn, at least take an ounce of the responsibility. You're supposed to be the role model. It's not that I don't understand. It's that I have never seen the content before. I never got anything out of the in-person lectures. It's a big lecture hall and the professor has a thick accent. I coasted to the midterm because it was review of a combinatorics class I had in high school. Once class went online, that was the final nail in the coffin for my attention. I just let the attendance penalties pile up because they're a trivial portion of the grade. I probably could've had a chance to get an A or A- if I didn't fuck up the project.

That said, I really just need to do well enough to get a D- or above. I didn't finish the biggish project so there's no way I'm getting an A in this class. But due to Covid, we can take 'Satisfactory' as a grade. It meets all requirements while having no affect on GPA and hiding original letter grade.

Finally got my homework done but I seriously don't think I can play this section of the game when it's dark out. It's just too gross.

So far in terms of survival horror elements I think this game is really outdated; you just press the fire button and you're fine. I can't imagine the game is more 'tactical' on Hard besides spacing melee weapons. It feels really clunky and punishing to try to avoid the humanoids, I've never successfully avoided a hit.

On the other hand, musical atmosphere and grotesque imagery is really really strong in this game. They weren't kidding about the 'disturbing visuals' warning. It makes RE look like a PG-13.
