Not really a good comparison. What could i possibly say to her to make her change her views? She was very adamant about being stuck in her ways with no remorse. its more akin to trying to persuade someone on CE during an argument. its just not gonna happen. So when, everyone showers her with love and tries to make her realize she is acting like an idiot and she just goes "yea, you right, you right"...nah she is more likely to say something like "sorry not sorry". I'm not saying this is going to change her either, i just don't feel any sympathy for her.

I also want to point out that just a week ago people were protesting SUGGESTIONS to stay inside. they weren't threatening to arrest people who didn't self quarantine, yet people protested because "MUH RIGHTS"...do you think those same people will do the same here? in this case they actually are arresting people. I'm expecting a lot of "just follow the law, simple as that!" from that crowd.

no one says that. there is a difference between riots and looting and understanding that sometimes force is necessary. He's calling out opportunists and people who are just in it to destroy and loot with no concern for the cause. If you need to topple a building (figuratively and literally) because being 100% peaceful isn't working (and it hasn't for the past several decades), then so be it...people need to understand the difference, though. mob mentality. once the first domino falls others do tend to follow. once chaos ensues its hard to differentiate those who are just there to fuck things up and those who are there to protect people from getting beat by the cops/stop the people who are just there to fuck shit up...then all people get grouped into the same "thug" category. it shifts the narrative. Its basically entrapment. then when all is said and done they can say "don't worry about what we did, look at all the bad THEY did. this is why we act the way we do you can't take our power away". these are the things that some cops do everyday, but it goes unnoticed. now that its basically national and all eyes are watching the larger scale makes it much more obvious.
