Police brutality is an issue but personal responsibility to know armed robbery is wrong is not someones else's fault to blame.

Its like civil rights is an issue in our country. And George Floyd is one of many cases where police brutality goes unchecked. But that doesnt give people permission to hurt and threaten innocent people who have nothing to do with the issues mentioned.

Handwave? You misunderstand. If the cops continue to escalate the violence, so too will the protesters. That's not good and I don't want that, but if you really expect people to continually receive abuse at the hands of the police without fighting back you're naive.

The difference is, if that person is identified and caught, their life is 10000% over. They will be rounded up with extreme prejudice and surely convicted. That would be the case with or without a video. No one will try to dig up info on how the officer got speeding tickets when he was 17 or injected marijuana once. All people ask is that the same energy that will go into condemining the driver goes into condeming the murderers and abusers of all citizens. But that exact simple request was denied for all of the 20th century and all of the 21st so far.

Exactly. No one wants to see this. But the cops ran over and killed a pregnant lady yesterday yet this video will get more outrage and more news coverage than that.
