I think the issue is TC is looking at this from an extreme perspective. Nobody expected this to be BotW. Nobody expects Pokmon to change that much when its barely changed at all over the course of 2 decades.

What they were expecting is that the highest grossing multimedia franchise in the world can at least have a game come out on new hardware and have that game be on-par with the best of previous games. Sw/Sh seems to be a major letdown in this regard.

It shouldnt be surprising, since Pokmon has remained #1 despite releasing the same game every few years. Why put in effort when you dont need to? That said, none of that makes it wrong for people to complain and want better for the future, and the way to do that is by putting their money where their mouth is, which many people are doing.

I, myself, was looking forward to this game, as I skipped last gen, but due to many issues I see in regards to this game, some albeit subjective (I hate 90% of the new designs and, even the ones I do like dont look like Pokmon to me), Ill likely be skipping this one too unless the third game brings a hell of a lot more to the table.

Gamers are the worst at protesting and will drop all of their ideals for the next shiny new toy.

Narita is as complicated as LAX plus it's too far from Tokyo.

Its only really complicated if youre trying to catch the train. Id agree that its too far from Tokyo though, hence my issues with driving there without tolls (fuck tollbooths in Japan too btw).

Taipeis airport seemed pretty nice, though I was just transferring through. Incheon is pretty nice too. Narita was nice but I have bad memories of trying to drive there without tolls.

Honestly, anything that isnt in a small town or third-world country is mostly fine and mostly the same. Fuck NAIA.

I always found it really shitty that them being bad friends means NO ONE is allowed to have any fun. Woolie was a good dude and deserved to succeed on YouTube but now the whole thing is a wash.

The problem is it started with the Two Best Friends. If those two best friends had been anyone but Matt and Pat, the channel couldve continued but, things being as they were, if they had just continued the channel with Matt/Woolie/Liam and Pat/Woolie LPs not only would it be awkward for the audience, but Matt and Pat wouldve still had to deal with each other from a financial standpoint.

Given that thats what eroded their friendship in the first place, its probably better that they all went their separate ways.

Pat is an asshole but an entertaining one. He always played off meek members like Matt and Liam the best but its clear his personality was too much for both.

Liam was and is funny and is extremely optimistic, even when he plays dreck. Hes very good at creating a relaxed atmosphere.

Matt is good sometimes and terrible others.

Woolie has always shifted between boring mediator and cringy weeb. Also, he has quite possibly the worst taste in partners of any LPer Ive ever seen.

God I love 80s/90s anime style. I wonder if there are any modern shows that try to emulate it.

If you like a plot driven show, you watch Hey Arnold, or something similar that has mature themes sometimes but doesnt forget its a childrens cartoon.

ATBG and especially AGU were just animated versions of those cringy tween shows like Hannah Montana and iCarly that were, and probably still are, all the rage.
