I'd like a bit more confirmation on that last one, since it sounds like it's possible to run into an exclamation point before you even see it, so it's possible the guy got confused. Not that it matters to me, personally, since I love the overworld Pokemon, but people being able to go completely random and not just hit the exclamation points would be nice for those that want it.

From a marketing standpoint, everybody knows the starters evolve, so you're not going to bring anybody in with "Look the starters evolve."

Like, don't get me wrong. I wasn't against the "They shouldn't take my handguns" bit, I was just arguing that's never something he actually said he was going to do.
