I love it. It's perfect. I totally disagree with Joel's reaction, but Joel ain't me. I'm playing as Joel and Joel is not a good guy who cares about the needs of the many.

I just hope the sequel doesn't fuck it up and make the Fireflies purely bad guys who didn't know what they were doing. I don't want Joel's decision at the end of the first game to be validated.

I'm up to the school part... got pissed off in the area with the buses. no matter how hard I tried still ended up having to have a brawl with the runners. Can you do this segment with stealth 100% or do I have to get into a scrap because that's what the story says?

From what I remember there are some parts where you're forced to get caught, which is kinda stupid. I don't remember if that area is one of them.

1. Not sure what that has to do with it. He didn't edit the speed or try to trick you into thinking attacks were linking up to each other if that's what you're saying.
2. No. Check high-level gameplay of GoW3 and you'll find it's around the same speed.
3. Well forgive him for using the entire moveset pool instead of resorting to options that make the game boring. The old God of War games fell into this trap too.

And another thing, there were no tits and sex because that's not what Norse mythology is partly known for. Ancient Greece was known for being extremely promiscuous. Now the comparative lack of blood and gruesome kills? I'll give you that. I don't know why he never mentioned his old family either.

I agree with him in the idea of "they ruined the characters by not having them act the way I wanted to", but at the same time, being made for children doesn't excuse bad writing.

TLJ was a visual spectacle at times but when you think about it the story doesn't make sense. TFA was practically a retelling of the first movie.

Also personally the combat was worse imo, gone is the fast paced combos and skill. In is slow paced and no enemy in the game including superbosses can withstand the ice blast /electric wolves combo.

It's slow-paced if you want it to be.

Oh, and those who are curious, this game does the BotW thing where the final level (The Impossible Lair) can be reached at any time, and tracks how many tries you've attempted. As the name implies though, the level is "impossible" meaning you'd have to be super skilled to get through without the extra hits you acquire by beating the other levels. It's a nice challenge, I bet at some point we'll see someone beat The Impossible Lair from the start.

Alright, I get what she's going for after reading some of these posts. Not necessarily legalizing it entirely, but decriminalizing possession of it so you can get help if you want to without getting into legal trouble.
