I'm probably not going to get deep into this but I'm just gonna say it depends on whether you're looking at furry-adjacent rule 34 sites that largely traffic in human/humanoids, or if you're going into actual furry internet, where you're going to get much different numbers

The one I looked at is a general repository for all types of rule 34 (humans, humanoids, other non-human animal characters). The site in question does have more of a preference for humans over non-human characters.

I just find it great that Goodra is the third highest from Gen VI. That's just funny.

Goodra surprised me a bit because I didn't think it was the type of Pokemon to get a lot of rule 34.

It would probably get the most amount of rule 34 out of the starters, followed by Intelleon and Rillaboom. Scorbunny was already leading the other 2 first form starters in rule 34 by a significant margin.

The more interesting thing is seeing which Pokemon from this generation will take off in the rule 34 department. No Pokemon from Gen 5 or later has even come close to competing against the Gen 4 titans of Lucario and Lopunny (much less Gardevoir). On one rule 34 website, here are the most significant rule 34 Pokemon from Gen 5, 6, and 7:

Zoroark - 1655
Snivy - 1422
Meloetta - 999
Mienshao - 786
Serperior - 731
Audino - 626
Reshiram - 599

Braixen - 1925
Sylveon - 1499
Goodra - 1258
Greninja - 1139
Delphox - 773

Incineroar - 878
Lycanroc - 693
Primarina - 597
Salazzle - 566
Pheromosa - 533

Gen 7 overall was a huge dud in the rule 34 department, with no Gen 7 Pokemon currently above 1000 images. Gen 6 actually fared quite well for itself, with 4 Pokemon above 1000 images. Of course, Gen 6 had Sylveon, so it was always going to get rule 34 just by being an Eevee. Gen 5 did okay for itself, but Zoroark has about 4 times less rule 34 than Lucario. This is for a Pokemon that was promoted as the Gen 5 equivalent to Lucario.

The most important aspect of that image is showing the Hatterene pre-evolution next to a bunch of known Psychic types, which would suggest Hatterene will end up having a Psychic type. This wouldn't be too surprising to me, because I thought it could pass for either a Fairy or Psychic type.

Datamining the pre-loaded digital version before release is pretty much impossible. However, if someone gets their hands on a physical copy of the game early, they can dump the ROM using a hacked Switch and send it off to Kaphotics or SciresM for datamining purposes. That is, if neither one of those guys are capable of getting their hands on a physical copy before release.

I don't really understand the people that want to play this game in handheld most of the time because this is the first game that is playable on a big screen TV (not counting things like the Game Boy Player accessory). Handheld mode is better suited for the people who are on the go very often and generally don't have access to playing their Switch in docked mode.

I considered that but the New Super Mario Bros. games likely hurt each other as well so it's hard to say for certain which game is strongest.

I don't think the New Super Mario Bros. games would have hurt each other that much at all. It's not like a new game in that series has the power to invalidate any of the previous games. When Mario Maker 2 came out, there was pretty much no reason to still vote for Mario Maker 1 unless you haven't played Mario Maker 2. The amount of new content added to Mario Maker 2 has made Mario Maker 1 pretty much obsolete, so that relationship between both Mario Maker games was perfect for a severe SFF/LFF situation.

In yesterday's poll, both Mario Maker games had a combined percentage of 33.62%. In the 2017 poll, Mario Maker 1 finished with 33.75%. So it seems like LFF between both Mario Maker games was the reason for NSMB winning yesterday's poll.

The original NSMB winning this poll is due to the presence of 2 Mario Maker games in this poll. I'm totally impressed the original Mario Maker isn't being SFFed into oblivion by Mario Maker 2.

In the 2017 version of this poll, Mario Maker 1 outright won this poll over the original NSMB. Both Mario Maker games have a combined percentage of 36.93%, which is actually higher than what Mario Maker 1 did in the 2017 version of this poll. The original Mario Maker had 33.75% back in 2017, which has dropped off to about 12% in today's poll.

I feel like they're going to eventually run the well dry with finding ways to pander to Gen 1 Pokemon. There's still more Gen 1 Pokemon that have received absolutely nothing (new forms, pre-evolution, evolution, exclusive moves) in their entire history. We've got things like Tauros, Lapras, and Dragonite that have not gotten anything yet. Although Lapras will be getting something soon, as it was mentioned in the Ben Affleck leak as getting a Gigantamax form.

So it's been over 10 days since the new update was released, and so far we haven't managed to get a multiplayer gaming session organized just yet.

The first thing we should do in setting up a multiplayer gaming session is to identify all Board 8ers who are able to play online using a wired connection. I feel that priority for hosting games should be given to those on a wired connection. If we can't find anyone with a wired connection, then we should turn to those with the fastest internet connections to be the host.

Just read a new old rumor post from August (mentioning Ponyta) and it showed some very promising information. I'm hoping that this one turns out real.

If that rumor post said Galarian Ponyta was going to be Fairy type, then it's already a fake leak. Any legitimate leak wouldn't have gotten the typing wrong.

There have been leaks that contain fake info (like Alolan Oddish in the USUM leak) that were considered legitimate because they got a lot of other info correct. However, correctly predicting a specific Pokemon but incorrectly predicting the type isn't something that should be in a legitimate leak.

Today's poll should have some interesting trends for sure:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/poll/7742-

This is a re-run of the 2016 version of this poll, which has badly messed up poll graphs due to the addition of a "Beef" option after nearly 2 hours into the poll. The addition of that option in a live poll really confused GameFAQs when it came to the poll graphs and the admins didn't bother fixing the mistake when I pointed it out to them. Today's poll won't suffer from that issue.

Its also the Rays

Maybe, but the Yankees have the Twins, which is technically a smaller market than the Rays (though the Rays have a smaller fanbase). I guess the baseball executives love to ride the Yankees's cock for those TV ratings, so that's why the Yankees get the primetime slot in every single game except for Game 5 (which goes to Rays/Astros).

It would require the perfect match-up of possible ALDS games to prevent the Yankees from getting the primetime slot in more than one game in a single series. Here's a hypothetical scenario of 2 different ALDS series:

Royals/Yankees
Astros/Red Sox

Would the Yankees even be favored to get a primetime slot that case as they're bogged down by the small market Royals while the Astros and Red Sox are both large markets.

Already they confirmed what we already saw in a small video, that auto-saving is a thing. It sounds like, though, that unlike every other game, the auto-save still saves to your main file instead of a separate file. So you have to manually turn it off in the settings each time you want to do something like reset for a legendary or whatever.

The fact that you can actually turn off auto saving will please the people who want to reset for good IVs/nature on their legendary.

Anyway, female here. I don't know how many because they're not all clean at the moment, but I guesstimate that I have between 30-40 pairs.

I'd say that number wouldn't be too surprising for a girl, given the impact that Victoria's Secret and other female clothing retailers have had on glorifying female clothing (particularly bras and underwear). Those retailers have made it look rather acceptable for girls to have a large collection of bras and underwear since they're produced in a wide variety of different designs (referring to the color of the clothing itself).

Guys don't have as much choice with their underwear options, as the designs are more limited. So there's no incentive for guys to buy lots of underwear, plus the lack of a major retailer that has the same impact on male clothing that Victoria's Secret (and others) have on female clothing.

Back in Kalis it had a lot to do with Ash Greninja, which screamed generic shounen anime that felt like it didn't belong in Pokmon despite the games later welcoming it as well.

Ash-Greninja was obviously created for the purpose of giving Ash a pseudo-Mega Evolution, because Ash since Gen 3 has restricted himself to catching only Pokemon that are native to the region he is traveling through (catching only Gen 3 Pokemon in Hoenn, Gen 4 Pokemon in Sinnoh, and so on for the other generations). Gen 6 had only one Pokemon with a proper Mega Evolution and that was Diancie, so there was no chance they would have allowed Ash to get that Pokemon. So Ash-Greninja was created to fill-in as his Mega Evolution replacement.

Sun/Moon finally broke a tradition of Ash never catching a single Mythical, when they allowed him to have Meltan/Melmetal. I am a bit disappointed that Ash didn't catch one of the Alola Forms, as I consider them to be completely new Pokemon since they're native to Alola. So it wouldn't feel like Ash was catching a Gen 1 Pokemon in a Gen 7 anime setting.

What is "straight, but like, I'd hook up with a dude"?

because that

The term for that would probably be bicurious.

Maybe it's gay for pay.

Nah, that's a term used in the area of porn where guys that are normally straight outside of their porn career are willing to do gay porn for the money, since guys can get paid more for doing gay porn than straight porn. With girls, it's the other way around, with straight porn paying more than lesbian porn.

Do you still remember the tastes of the discontinued flavors that you've tried years ago? Or do you have to rely on old posts that you've made where you described your opinions of them?

I'd say that's the main problem I would face in ranking all of known flavors of Mountain Dew that I have ever tried. Not being able to clearly remember the taste of the discontinued flavors, especially with the ones that were discontinued many years ago. I did find these 2 posts, though:

I liked Revolution the best. After that, it's Voltage and then Supernova in last.

On the Dewmocracy site, it turns out that Voltage is winning in a major landslide.

Behold, my final Distortion chug:

Type: Mountain Dew Distortion
Time it took to chug it all down: 6.8 seconds

RIP Mountain Dew Distortion. It was my favorite flavor out of the 3 new flavors and it ended up finishing in last place in the nationwide voting. It no longer exists on the market, but I still have some from when I bought a 12 pack of this stuff about 1 month ago.

Those 2 posts were referring to the 2 separate DEWmocracy contests. This was my ranking of the flavors from both DEWmocracy contests:

Revolution > Voltage > Supernova
Distortion > Typhoon > White Out
