"All they can"

You could at least try to make the lie believable. When several countries are rolling back regulations or set to not even meet the most basic of requirements they set themselves then they aren't doing "all they can"

From some people it definitely is a judgement and a way for them to look down on you.

The concept itself isn't though, and it should be a way to point out ways many of unknowingly benefit from just being who we are.

Less than half the country voted for the Tories. Only a tiny amount of THOSE people voted him to lead the party.

Not sure how the country voted for him, just because he won the election

Doesn't change much though as he did win, and when we had a chance to change our voting system we decided "nah, we like this bad way"

A bad takeaway from the election, but one people will continue to push.

All this shows is people are fed up of Brexit going nowhere, as that is pretty much all that has dominated the election cycle with even the NHS taking a sideline. So they are voting for the man who continues to lie about getting it done because just because he's lied every other time his mouth opened, means he really means it this time!

100%

Disabled people have already been needlessly dying under the last 9 years of tory rule. Poverty has increased. Large numbers of people across the country are relying on foodbanks. Racial attacks have increased, attacks on disabled people have increased. It's all down to the tory policy of austerity and their friends in the media. It's no fucking joke and it makes me want to cry. Not to mention that with brexit going full steam ahead we're looking at serious medication shortages and the gutting of the National Health Service to sell to American interests.
Yup. And with the poor handling of the NHS going to get worse for those suffering who are going to need healthcare more often. It's just a shitshow for anyone pretty much everyone not at the top of the "wealth chain" and yet the people suffering most will continue to vote for them and then wonder why their life gets worse.

There are plenty Thunbergs, but there's a larger, more volatile, more openly bigoted population in there, too. Just absolute constant dogwhistles nowadays.
They are an absolute minority of the younger generation though. The younger generation is heavily not conservative no matter how loud current conservatives claim otherwise.

Yes you get trolls and racists shouting, but Gen Z is by far the most progressive one and even the conservative ones stand by many of their progressive stances.

I don't know why people keep claiming the new generation are conservative. Heck, they think millennials aren't doing enough most of the time.

Since you personalized it...

Do you find it acceptable to create a new policy that effects everybody under the program just to "motivate" the smaller demographic within the larger demographic?

It's naive to imply that there can be a system in place to stop those who would abuse. Can you name ANYTHING government related that hasn't been abused? Even the government abuses the government. You can't combat human nature like this without hurting more people than you're helping.

But if you have a good idea that wouldn't create collateral damage or unnecessary inconvenience to people, I'm open to hearing it. Maybe I haven't looked at enough angles.
It is okay if rich people abuse the system. It's the poor people abusing it that is the issue and making taxpayers suffer, not the companies not paying billions in tax. The small guy who maybe gets a grand more a year is what takes the mickey.

For what its worth, some apologists and/or sects of Christianity dont believe that God knows the future because its not a knowable thing according to them.
Which should lead to the line of thinking that if he isn't all knowing, then his thoughts on matters are just as subjective as anyone else's and have no more value than you or mine's and so isn't a being worth listening to so dogmatically as they do.
