Agree with this - it definitely won't solve problems, and you are right that you will come back to the same environment, but they offer a way to be loose without risks (hope that makes sense)

Still sickening. Think how much leniency cops are given when someone dies by their hand on-duty. They are given paid leave and are investigated by their friends until no wrongdoing is found.

When she spends a few years risking her life basically every day in a thankless job that does more good to more people than any other job in the country, then maybe she'll earn a little benefit of the doubt too.

Don Junior's point is very true. There are a ton of articles and tweets against Trump that get a lot of attention and then later they retract it and say it was a mistake. Those retractions don't get nearly as much views.

So can we count his wall being blocked by the courts as one of the four instead? It was definitely a large part of his running platform/popularity, and prominent conservatives have given him grief over that. Now the count is 1 to 2 , doesn't look too good for him getting a blowout.

Manafort was just one of the many crooks who happen to work in the American political system, there is no avoiding inadvertently hiring some when you end up POTUS. Pretty much every Democrat has people working for them who'd have their corruption uncovered in the same fashion if they were investigated as much as Trump was.

Bottom line is that Russian collusion conspiracy theory was a HOAX, and the D's should be ashamed of wasting away the country's focus on their butthurt-induced conspiracy theory. Yeah, it's a classic example of world building for the sake of world building. In other words, a bunch of pointless filler. Really, the main narrative of Gargoyles seems to be their struggle to be accepted by humanity. None of the Avalon shit was important to that. I actually never liked the idea of there being other clans of gargoyles; cheapens the value of the Manhattan Clan and how they were supposed to be the last of their race.

And fuck, as much as I like this show, it started feeling like a fanfiction of itself. Shakespeare's Macbeth is an actual character? There's even a Gargoyle literally named COLDSTEEL! Literally should just been about the Manhattan Clan adapting to modern society and trying to become accepted by humans.

I actually liked the Shakesperean stories tying into myth (three sisters/Camelot), made it seem more grounded.. and of course this was two decades before every TV series was doing the same thing

This is not the first time celebrities conveniently had abuse stories in their pocket to bring up at the right time to collect the sympathy points.

And in those several times, some stories also sounded absurd enough that the allegers eventually were found to be fiction writers.

Her story could very well be true and verifiable in legal settings, but until evidence beyond reasonable doubt have been brought forth, if a story sounds too bad to be true, I will take the it with a grain of salt.

Which stories were those (where the allegers were fabricating)?

Empire Earth is another good RTS, really.. and I mean REALLY detailed gameplay...

I get where you are coming from (to an extent), but would say to go - even if you think you'll be bored and your sister isn't actively asking you to come. I was a bit younger (19) when my sister was that age, and though events like this weren't that memorable at the time, we still talk about them two decades later. On a more personal note, I still feel bad about times I *didn't* go and just sat at home playing video games/TV.
