Look into respite centers if you're not 5150. They're good 24hour facilities to unwind during stress while retaining freedom and the ability to keep your life going once you sort shit out. They'll have outpatient resources too so if you're good afterwards you'll have access to slightly less immediate treatment.

Hospitals are a whole thing and personally, I like to avoid them as much as possible. Kinda shitty environment

I cannot adequately put into words what is happening right now but i am home and my sister knows what is going on and i am safe. I may be going to an inpatient program this week, a friend has suggested a partial program but i really feel like i need to be blocked from the world for a few days

Inpatient facilities are garbage. You're basically just stuck in an environment where you can't really do anything and all you have are your thoughts.

Still, if you feel that you need to do it because you feel like you have no other choice, I wouldn't suggest against it

I thoroughly support the partial programs. I admitted myself into one during a particularly rough time and it's basically all the group stuff & meeting with psychiatrists/therapists, but without feeling like you're in a prison.

Agree with this - it definitely won't solve problems, and you are right that you will come back to the same environment, but they offer a way to be loose without risks (hope that makes sense)
