That would be my concern. Buying a used physical media disc is sketchy on the best of days. Having it be from redbox is worse. Who knows how many people have handled it.

There are dice companies that advertise how well balanced their dice are, but Ive never bothered.

i usually buy the big ass bags of random dice. I then roll the fuck out of them, find the ones that feel lucky and put out good results.

I usually roll them all at the beginning of a session to see which ones are hot.

On an objective level, none of this matters.

It would have to be for the people in the first example, and in order to make it even remotely safe for them there would have to be oversight to a degree that would guarantee that the second type, and most others, wouldnt take advantage of it.

At the end of the day, I say do it, but dont expect it to make a noticeable effect on the homeless
problem.

Yeah, but people in higher social standings like to distract people away from this idea. Its much better to have the commoners fighting amongst themselves than uniting against the wealthy.

One time I had to do one of those holiday gift things where people unwrap random presents and people can steal them and shit. The gift I brought was 100 pens. A bunch of different kinds. I thought it was pretty nifty but apparently nobody was too big on the idea of never needing a pen again.

Also, you dont need to know every rule and mechanic in the game, but you should try to get a handle on your own character and what they can do.

As mentioned above, theres a lot of rules involved, so theres going to be a learning curve. Most likely theyll be friendly and helpful about it though. Tabletop gamers are some of the best people, with very few exceptions.

I assume youre playing fifth edition so theres very little actual game advice I can give. My group is a bunch of nerds so we play pathfinder for the most part. Although I did play a bard for several years. It was fun, and it became a lot more satisfying when I started looking at the accomplishments of those that Im aiding as my own accomplishments. You can also get away with being a bit more over the top as a bard. People generally expect that.

There is nothing to suggest they are altering the genre outside of the trailer. Have you looked into it at all?

The kids trope might be a bit tired, its also pretty blatant with the inclusion of the stranger things kid, but theres no reason to write it off yet.

Yeah, there are a couple streamers who put on wildly good shows. I prefer streamers that are knowledgeable and go on rants about things, have quality conversations with their chat and preferably do something else like help expose people to good music.

However, for people who have never hung out with people while playing a game (which isnt multiplayer that they are participating in) and never saw the appeal of chat rooms, I can see why they dont understand others enjoying it.
