It's important that you continue to eat protein to maintain your muscle mass, and complex carbohydrates for energy. You do need a small amount of fats (particularly Omega-3 fatty acids), and make sure to keep up your hydration.

But diet alone really isn't enough. Your body will adjust itself to the lower food intake and your weight loss with slow or even stop. You need to exercise as well to keep your metabolism up to continue burning calories.

We had sex ed starting in 2nd grade and they went into pretty clear detail about internal anatomy and how to make babby, but that's about it. And for a private Christian school, they surprisingly didn't do the "sex is evil except missionary position between a married couple" thing.

They more or less repeated this class again every year through 6th grade.

Our high school biology teacher talked about sex and it was really weird. He kept saying some like "if you orgasm, you've had sex", which of course led to questions about does that include masturbation (yes), which led to even more wacky questions, including a few that confused even the teacher (something about using the bathtub faucet).

The local Post Office got a total slacker to do the Sunday delivery. My house is literally the absolute furthest house from the PO, and they guy couldn't be arsed to drive all the way out here. So whenever Amazon would ship something with Sunday delivery, the little shit would mark it as "Undeliverable: driveway or mailbox inaccessible" and leave it for the regular delivery guy to deliver on Monday, when my mailbox would mysteriously become accessible again. I finally complained both to the USPS and Amazon (who in turn complained to the USPS) and the guy apparently got fired because the last few shipments have actually shown up on time.

But they're all better than DHL, who delivered a $4000 laptop to an address halfway across the county, and who left several other expensive shipments down at the far end of the driveway next to the mailbox where anybody passing by could have grabbed it.

I like agave syrup because the flavor is pretty neutral like sugar, but it's much easier to mix into cold drinks like iced tea or coffee. It's also sweeter than sugar so you don't need as much, and it's got a low glycemic index so it won't spike your blood sugar quite as badly as sugar.

Games should be able to adjust the difficulty automatically. If someone is clearly having trouble with a particular area, the game should lower the difficulty until the player can get past it. If they're obviously breezing through, the game should ramp things up to provide a challenge. Make this an optional feature, of course, so some people can play on easy or hard if that's what they really want.

(actually, one thing I discovered that I definitely don't really like now are "dissolvable stitches"; maybe if I had picked at it more it wouldn't have been a problem but it actually took 10-15 years for the last of the dissolvable stitches to come out. I think it would have healed a lot faster without that stupid gunk embedded in my skin.)

You really should've picked at them more. Mine didn't all dissolve on their own, but after a few weeks I wound up spraying the shower head against the healed incision area while gently tugging at the bits of stitches that were left sticking out, & I managed to pull the remainder pretty well all out without any additional damage.

Last surgery I had they didn't even use stitches, they literally just glued me back together. (It was microsurgery on my spine, the incision was about 1 inch)

Top Douglas County crime scene investigator David Kofoed was convicted of planting blood evidence in a car, which led to the incarceration of two innocent men. Kofoed served jail time and was ordered to pay $6.49 million to the two men his phony evidence helped incarcerate. Depends on the surgery and your physical condition before hand.

A few years ago I had a massive infection in my lung that required surgery. I was stuck in the hospital for a week and couldn't even wipe my own butt after using the bathroom (which I only did twice in a week, that's how bad off I was). They tried to get me to walk around, trailing all kinds of tubes and wires, but couldn't make it more than a few feet outside my room. I think it was the chest tubes that were causing most of my problems.

But once they took the chest tubes out, I was up and about almost back to normal within minutes. I walked completely around the hospital ward, took a shower, and dressed myself.

They sent me home with instructions to rest and not to lift anything heavier than a gallon of milk for a month. That evening I was outside picking up a full-grown pygmy goat (about 40-50 pounds) and carrying her about 40 or 50 yards.
