I recently finished watching every Nitro. And a lot of Thunder.

The between-Bischoff and Russo period of 1999 is the worst WCW ever.

It is incredibly boring and includes burials of pretty much everyone Bischoff was high on.

The only other period close to as bad is late-2000 WCW, which is just as boring, except replace most of the talented wrestlers with guys like Shawn Stasiak.

The only reason I think late-2000 WCW is better is that Nitro is only 2 hours instead of 3.

Part of the problem with the cruiserweights is that what got cruiserweights over in WCW wasn't them being small, it was them being different.

Meanwhile the cruiserweight division in WWE is filled with guys who are just "main roster guys but small".

i do think squall suffered a lot from the format requiring voting in all matches

he seems like the kind of character to draw anti-votes

not enough to turn around the zelda match obviously but enough to push him down a few percent?

Well even if Squall didn't drop at all the top six would've been Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Squall, Auron, ??? (I may be forgetting someone?).

I can't think of any way FFVII drops off that anybody sneaks into that sixth spot barring Noctis somehow having been super-strong.
