For a while, I thought Wyoming might have been a real place, but then I learned Longmire was actually filmed in Colorado.

Oh, and otherwise there was a bit of trivia from a movie or something which discussed that the guy who voiced Garfield played Venkman (Bill Murray's character) on the Ghostbusters cartoon and, when the LA Garfield movie came out, Bill Murray was hired to voice Garfield. #Crisscross

Otherwise I haven't really followed FG in 5+ years, but I still watch the Simpsons (although not always when the stuff comes out). The only episodes I missed were some of the stuff around the show's late teens/early 20s, I think. Can't remember "The Book Job," for instance.

It doesn't make sense. You can see just fine without a torch during the day. You'd only need one at night. They're kinda dumb.

No, what doesn't make sense is using them at night because torches give off way too light.



The only thing that carrying a torch at night would do is hurt your eyes while limiting your range of vision.

If a child develops a severe mental/physical disability after birth, should parents be able to euthanize the child so that it can avoid a life of suffering?

Whose suffering? The parents'? >_> Most supposed quality of life arguments ignorantly approach things from *our* perspective, whereas somebody with a severe disability doesn't know things differently. And, in general, there's no guarantee or even reasonable expectation that a healthy child will avoid a life of suffering because life frequently involves suffering. The only way to prevent lives of suffering is to end all life.

And, in general, these bad-faith arguments aren't about the parent or the child, but about third-parties who dislike the impaired and, if they had the choice, would likely purge a fuckload more than just the impaired from our society. After all, that's where a lot of murderous regimes started.

Would have to be a cutoff age when the issues would have likely manifested. Probably no older than 4.

Really depends on the condition. Some things aren't recognized or diagnosed until later. Then there are conditions which don't emerge until later.

Do you think it's advisable for someone who is depressed, and very emotionally and mentally unstable to move out of their house, even when the only source of emotional comfort and companionship for them live in that house?

Pretty sure that's more of a question for a trained therapist well-versed in the individual's particular circumstances than a layperson, tbh.

Either they think it's more effort, they're embarrassed to it, or they think the dog would have better luck on the streets than a shelter given how many kill animals they can't place. Keep in mind that a lot of people don't understand the notion of domestication and say crap like, "Well, it's a wild animal, it'll do okay going back to nature!"

I'm impressed that it doesn't even look bad. I'm sure Syfy will still ruin it, but it looks WAY better than Titans. That show looks worse than just about anything Syfy has ever put out, and I'm including The Asylum's stuff in with that.

The Asylum has put out some non-awful, non-campy stuff over the years. It's not just 2-Headed Shark Attack, 3-Headed Shark Attack, 5-Headed Shark Attack, Sharknado, Sharknado 2: The Sequel, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming, The Last Sharknado: It's About Time, Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus, Mega Shark Versus Crocosaurus, and Ice Sharks.... and Planet of the Sharks, Empire of the Sharks, and Lava Sharks. You know, I think the takeaway there is that they do a lot of movies about sharks.

Why are you only describing one of them as fat? They're both fat, even if one is a lot fatter than the other. Having one person be fatter doesn't magically make somebody else not fat.

I went to one movie alone. It's really uncomfortable. It would be nearly on par with going to a sit in restaurant alone.

Considering you're in a dark room where everybody's eyes are focused on the screen, it's nothing like sitting in a restaurant alone. >_>

tbh, back when I was in college, I'd sometimes catch morning (or I guess noontime?) matinees by myself. The tickets were cheap, you usually had the theater almost to yourself, and honestly I found it a much nicer experience than the busier showings.
