If you're not job hopping every 2 years or so in IT then you're losing out on money. They will never pay you more money. Going to a new job will generally net you a 30% pay bump plus the experience of seeing things done differently with different software. Also it allows you to dump the whole generalist BS. It's great the first few years of your career but I got sick of it. Went from the same sys admin do everything stuff that you did to strictly managing VMware and storage array. No more being a backup for the helpdesk. Got to become more specialized with less responsibility and paid $25k more. --- |

A couple of times I had to choose to take damage by running into him rather than getting hit by his attacks since it did less damage. Was cool having Cloth help me out. Sad what happens though. --- |

I love Islay scotch. Wife has gotten me Lagavulin the last couple years for my birthday/Christmas. Got me the distillers version last month for my birthday. It's great but I don't like it as much as the standard bottle. It's too sweet and isn't as smooth. My every day scotch is McClellands Islay. It's the closest I can get to Lagavulin for ~$23. How's the Laphroaig? Was recommended it the last time I went whiskey shopping. Was planning on picking it up next time. In regards to bourbon and rye, I haven't found any I like yet. If I'm going something that sweet, I'm just grabbing some rum. --- |
