This is a user's PC, and while she's working at another workstation, I still need to get this one up and running. But it won't let me cancel it, and doing a hard reboot may screw the whole HDD up, since it's still working on stuff. Though reimaging it is a simple process, but I need to get her data for backup (I can't boot into the OS because it was caught in a loop, hence the startup repair).

I'd connect her HDD to another computer as an external drive. Then you can browse the contents and pull her User folder.

Do what you want. I just want to educate people who don't know any better. I don't care about people like you who will do it regardless.

I grew up in the South where we cooked everything with salted butter and lard, filled our plates up until they nearly overflowed, and still forced dessert into our mouth holes. Getting fat was viewed as normal and just part of getting older. I never knew any better until I started working out and how my diet is suppose to look like.

Not really. She went to the doctor when she was a teenager and they told her some women just have irregular periods and they can be extra painful.

She just dealt with it and she'd cancel whatever plans she had that day whether it was class or work.

Like I said, she doesn't have bedridden episodes anymore. She has days when it's still pretty painful but she smokes to offset it.

As to what makes them good or not... to me a good table has a fun theme, a nice layout with various types of targets and a rule set that's somewhat deep and rewarding for mre skilled players, but not overly complicated like most of the modern Stern tables. In general the 80s-90s era Bally/Williams tables are easily my favorites, though there are some good Gottleib ones from that era as well. I'd say my personal three favorite machines are FunHouse, Attack from Mars and Monster Bash.

Great explanation. Also a great table is one where the magnet under the table isn't super intrusive to the gameplay.

Favorite tables of mine are Monster Bash, Twilight Zone, Scared Stiff, and Addams Family.

Two honorable mentions are No Fear and Indy 500.

Or, someone ran it empty and screwed up the magnetron somehow. Don't bother even trying to repair it, as bits of it are made of beryllium oxide (which is essentially super-asbestos).

The most annoying thing about being a techie is having this conversation literally every time you meet anyone:

"What do you do?"
"Software."
"Can you look at my ______?"

Like seriously, every single human on Earth has apparently managed to mess up their ______, and I guess I'm the expert on fixing Windows or OSX or whatever. Because I've written software that has very little to nothing to do with it.

I mean that's kind of a fair assumption, you have far more experience with computers than they do so it's more likely you'll be able to fix their problem.

Yes and no. It's like if DevsBro made windshields for a living and you tell him your engine has been making a funny noise. Just because he codes software doesn't mean he has helpdesk skills.

0 or Kiwami.

I started with Kiwami then went to 0 afterwards and didn't have a problem. People always say Kiwami references stuff that happened in 0 so play 0 first. I liked playing Kiwami and then meeting younger versions of characters I'd already met.

Also Kiwami is the same game as 0 but much smaller in content. If I went from 0 to Kiwami, it would have been a big let down. I'm glad I started off small then went on to a game that's much bigger.

9 times out of 10 I can find avocados for $0.90-$1 a piece. Considering how filling they are, that's not expensive at all. Sometimes you see them at $1.25 and that's when I skip out on them.

Bags and bags of frozen veggies and fruit fill my freezer. You won't have as much variety but it's better than nothing.
