i like hickok and hes pretty comfy to watch, but you dont get a ton of either aspects outside of him just shooting at the same targets for 90% of the video. and while not really falling into any category i also like Ak Operators Union, Local 47-74 who does a pretty good job in show casing how certain AK's and AR's hold up.

theres some others like Nutnfancy, TheYankeeMarshal and Colin Nior, but they tend to be pretty hit and miss for some based on their personalities and political leanings.

i really cant answer that. both have their large merits which comes down to your own personality. cats arnt really dependable in the same way as a dog can be, but they are largely self reliant (and serious killers in certain conditions which can be more useful) while dogs constantly need your attention, but can potentially mean a bigger bond.

i will say that the best animal iv owned (and iv owned a lot of both) was a cat.

if someone comes knocking on a door at 5am chances are higher than normal an individual will have a gun on them to see who it is so that was stupid right there of the cops. not defending him pulling the gun on the cops, but just the cops being there at that time to confiscate his property for technically doing nothing wrong is just asking for higher tensions than they needed to be. if anything the situation needs to be addressed by a mental health professional (or on the scene with the cops) first before any physical action like that is taken and there needs to be an evaluation period.

red flag laws in general are bullshit and might come from good intentions at times, but at the end of the day you are basically punishing individuals and taking away their rights for not doing anything illegal. there needs to be some sort of liability on the individuals who report the situation other wise pretty much anyone can report on anything because they dont like you.

Stop being paranoid. No one is coming for your guns.
No one is going to start confiscating firearms door to door in this day and age. However the new plan is to make as many of them restricted with enough restrictions on them that no one wants to make an attempt to get them to begin with along with trying to get rid of grandfathering in clauses. Thats typically what people are referring to now when they say "thur comin to take mur gunz" its also the "solution" that many europeon countries did. Its about putting as many barriers between citizens and the firearms as possible. Of which in most cases these types of restrictions tend to hurt lower income familys and people who actually live in bad areas who might actually need a gun and cant get it because they dont have the money for the classes, taxes and mandatory items needed to own them. To them its a wall, to middle and upper classes its an inconvenience who in a lot of cases already have guns of some type protecting them.

Just really hurts to see this happening on a near daily basis. I hope America will eventually come to its senses with regard to gun control - it wont bring countless lives back, but it will prevent these tragedies from being a common occurrence.
Its cali. you already have THE most strictest gun control in the country. an AWB, magazine limits, registration, purchase permits, ammunition laws, red flag laws, storage laws, mandatory safety training, no reciprocity, nearly no carry laws, universal background checks and it just goes on. Outside of outright banning 90% of firearms theres really not much more you can do here as far as the item itself.

there needs to be a bigger conversation in how we are treating people more than anything. people are obviously not getting the help they need and the system isnt working as its supposed to in a lot of cases.

so basically 90% of rifles are now deemed "assault weapons". first it was assault rifle which has a clear definition, then they added assault weapon and only included certain features that magically made the weapon more deadly. now its revised again to include all 130 year old firearm technology. slippery slope indeed.

also "semiautomatic assault rifles"

fuck these people.

the whole thing is feel good legislature that throws on a lot of taxes and extra steps with added costs, of which a lot of it will hurt lower income familys and poorer people (like minorities) rather than merrily inconveniencing at worse the middle and upper class. especially the focus on "assault weapons" which take up practically no crime and yet because of its very very broad definitions something like a marlin 60 .22 with a tube fed magazine is the same as an AK just because they are both semi auto.

pretty much everyone i knew grew up with guns. you were taught as young as you could comprehend about them to limit any curiosity about them which leads to accidents. if you wanted to see it, you were shown it, shown how and how not to hold it and could handle it (unloaded and supervised obviously). if you wanted to shoot it you were taken out to shoot it supervised. this was when i was 6 years old. when i was 11 i had 3 of my own guns that were in reach because i wasnt a little psycho and was shown i could be trusted with them. 11 is old enough to know the dangers of the situation.

if youre going to have guns around you need to take away the mysticism of them which involves them always being around. thats not to say you should just leave shit laying around when kids are present (especially when kids have other kids hanging around), but they cant be hidden way and out of sight out of mind either which also leads to bad shit possibly happening.

that said if this kid was showing signs of violent or unpredictable behavior thats cause to keep firearms away from them and actually be "responsible" (which varies from situation to situation).

the M16 has more going for it as far as a combat rifle. at this point if you want a .308 rifle the M1a is basically there for nostalgia (and i say this as a fan of the M1A). any real option for a modern battle rifle now is going to come down to two types of choices. an AR10 if you want the AR's benefits with a powerful round OR something like an HK91 or FAL that will get you near AK levels of ruggedness if you actually needed something to take into harsh conditions. the M1A is just too finicky of a platform imo.

iv always found that comparison to be a bit odd. while driving is not technically a right so its not protected in the same way, its very obvious why we have the level of regulation on it that we do. its a 2000pound piece of metal going 60 mph around other heavy pieces of metal with human beings in them that we HAVE to interact with every day. you need to know what the car does as far as mirror usage, shifting, turn signals, breaking and accelerated and not to mention the 100's of road rules and signs in order not to fuck up it. a car is not a gun. a firearm isnt some crazy complicated thing. nearly everything about them comes down to common sense, muscle memory and how you should hold them. theres not a lot to learn about them when you get down to it. if someone fucks up with them at most one person can be killed and any more than that is based on individual intent. if you fuck up with a car literally dozens could be killed and if your intent is fucked then under the right circumstances it can be more devastating than a real assault rifle aimed at a crowd.

"Gun violence in America is overblown because it mostly happens in areas where brown people live, and who really gives a shit about them?"
its over blown mostly because most of the gang violence is done by individuals who willingly chose that life and accepted the risks even treating it as a status symbol. thats not to say something shouldn't be done about it, especially for the people who have to live around that, but most of the deaths involved in inner-city conflicts are from individuals who chose to live life looking down the barrel of a gun.

the chance of nemesis dropping something depends on where you fought him before and certain choices you made which may or may not have ended up with a nemesis fight.

a lot of the choices usually means random placement on enemies and items in one of two locations and a certain starting points for the next areas. in terms of items and locations you arnt (for the most part) locked out of content since you can explore and go to the areas you would of been at if you chose differently and certain gun powders will show up in one of two locations, but certain enemy encounters and nemesis sequences are different depending on what choices you made.

for the electric gate usage it changes the puzzle solutions for the doors. pulling the emergency break changes up where you start in the next area and changes how a certain nemesis fight goes down. certain enemy and item locations are random regardless. there is also some slight variations in terms of story scenes. i hope im not spoiling too much.

as for jumping off the bridge it changes up a good amount of (non-location) stuff including certain story scenes. and it leads to the canon ending.

if you just got to the clock tower you are maybe ~40-50% through.

thats largely already in the system. a lot of the problems come from human error in not reporting what they should.

its good (and pushes back zombies with some force), but again you need a lot of powder to get to the point of first making it and your other weapons will be suffering a bit on ammo in the mean time (which means less power for nemesis). just depends on how you want to play. personally for a first time id just wing it.

RE3 takes place before the events of 2, through 2 and after it. jill got to the station before leon or claire did (its also why brad is a zombie in 2 if you wanted to get the special costumes)

the default handgun can use enhanced handgun ammo (what you get once you make 6 or 7 gunpowder A's after each other). those rounds do 50% increased damage. the eagle handgun can only use regular ammo. however it also obviously shoots faster and has a chance for a "magnum" power shot. both are good depending on how you want to play tho youll have to wait a while before you get enough gunpowder to have enhanced ammo.
