Like if someone comes into a thread I made, let's say it's about this mail-bomber shithead, and goes "Build that wall!" or "Still a better pastime than being a filthy liberal fuckface", that person can fuck right off. But if someone comes in like "This is certainly an interesting time to be alive, with things the way they are. Kind of like when Triple-H staged a hostile takeover of WWE from Vince McMahon...", or if they post stupid gifs that are against my viewpoint but are genuinely funny, then fuck it - that's the topic now.

Topicality is a thing, of course, and I don't think anyone should be able to spam anything and get away with it. A lot of this sort of thing is just annoying and in the way. But if you're trolling a thread that I've made, or that someone else has made, and are genuinely eliciting an entertaining response? Taking a topic that's otherwise mired in loaded, unpleasant speech to cause a shitshow and turning it into something that makes people laugh? I like that.

MJ was a weird soul because he never had a childhood, and when he gave himself that childhood wonderland in his 30's I think he just thought of himself as being like a child. I don't think he was like "oh child penis, ohoho" - I think he was a seriously stunted child star who was chewed up and spit out by the record industry, who would have been abused and taken advantage of during his formulative years. That made him weird, and it's the expression of childhood that he indulged in during his twenties and thirties that really brought it all into the forefront.

I trust Macaulay Culkin's take on MJ, seeing as they were both child stars and that - while I assume he's been legally gagged - Culkin hasn't shied away from the idea of being abused during his stardom. I think that if MJ was a sexually manipulative monster, Culkin wouldn't have outright defended him at times throughout the years.
