Stephanie should start a new Woman's Wrestling show on Wednesday nights on National TV.

With "Girl Power" / Feminism being very popular now & the popularity of GLOW; now is the time to strike. While the Iron is super hot.

WWE could easily gather up all the female talent and have a Wednesday night Women's Wrestling 2 hr program and have it succeed.

That would give RAW / SmackDown more screen time for the male talent as well since they don't have to share any screen time with the female wrestlers.

Hogan always gets bonus points for me since he was both the top face in wrestling for a time and then the top heel when he turned Hollywood. Really showed great range in the early days of the nWo. It was still over the top and cheesy, but by god did it work.

You've got to remember, our standards were MUCH lower then.

and the nWo was such a new concept in US wrestling at the time that it literally helped revolutionize wrestling in the Attitude Era.

I don't think anyone's got more charisma than Hogan at his peak. Maybe Macho or Rock, but even then. Better promos exist no doubt, but raw charisma? There was a reason he was off the charts.

The 80's were a simpler time. A simple slogan literally riled up the crowds like it was nobody's business.

We have much higher standards now, and with the volume of wrestling we've ingested; we're largely immune to many of the old school techniques.

So getting worked up or moved by a Wrestlers Mic skill requires a much higher bar in this day & age IMO.

Cena, seems to have largely gotten there by having a consistent level above Hogan IMO.

Does he have more Charisma than Hogan, sure.

But he's no Steve Austin who is an actually gifted technical wrestler back in the day before his "Stone Cold Steve Austin" gimmick that turned him into a Brawler and limited his repertoire.

If you go back and watch the Steve Austin vs Chris Benoit in a technical wrestling match where Chris Benoit called him out, it was hilarious to see Austin expand his capabilities outside of his usual spiel.

WWE gave him multiple lengthy matches with big fight feels and multiple finisher kick outs every week on Raw and that was enough to trick people into thinking he was actually above everyone else on the roster.

They must be complete marks then.

Yes, John Cena is physically a specimen.

He's probably physically stronger & more fit than Hulk Hogan or Ultimate Warrior when they were at Cena's age or in their primes.

But being physically fit and strong doesn't make one a good "Wrestler".

It gives them a strong powerful "Look" to entertain the crowd.
