Meanwhile, there are two other projects that are described as mini-series. There are no details available on one of them, but the other is supposedly based around the iconic Wrath of Khan story. There is also a mysterious animated series in the works.

Mario being a villain one time out of literally hundreds (and in his second appearance, before they'd nailed down the character) isn't really comparable. Meta-Knight is all over the place in terms of helping or hindering Kirby.

Are there any more big Nintendo villains that could be added? Assuming you have to be at least roughly human-sized, the only one I can think of is Vaati, who's just not important enough. Briefly looking through the Smash site, I see we have the following:

My recommendation is actually not to gun for maxing any stat at the moment. You'll have plenty of chances to increase stats over time, and those bonuses will be wasted if you max early. Increasing various Confidants should almost always come first.

I may go with this only because I wanted to increase other confidants anyway, but Makoto is probably in my top three confidants right now. It sucks that I can't do anything with her.

I'm not confident I'll play the others. Some of the things I enjoyed the most about this game I've learned were invented by it. I also like the ambush mechanic, which I assume isn't present in the other ones since they aren't about thieves (I assume).
